The MS looks much better than the first version. I would appreciate if you consider
reviewing the manuscript again and more attention to the language.I would also
recommend that you tighten the introduction and the discussion.

Comments to the Author

Dear Authors,
The topic is interesting and the knowledge generated from this comparative study could
help educators in the three countries. However, the abundant grammatical mistakes and
improper word choices have made reading very challenging. In addition, the structure of
the introduction/background and the discussion needs further revision so as to highlight
evidence as compared with international literature. Generally, results might inform practice,
once the authors are finished from reviewing and restructuring the MS. The authors need to
expand their discussion further. Consistency when using certain concepts is required (e.g.,
Nursing students or student nurses, Cronbach’s or cronbach’s, psychological or emotional).
The introduction is not telling much. I suggest rewriting and making the flow of ideas clear
to the reader. You also need to elaborate on the translation process. The use of parametric
tests has not been established based on normality studies. I suggest running the normality
tests first to justify the use of ANOVA and regression. The use of ampersand in separate
occasions for citation is improper. Citations and referencing as per the journal guidelines
are not fully met.
Here are some of the issues that require more attention within the MS:
Page 1:
Abstract: line 21: “Five” becomes “five”.
Findings: revise tense and grammar.
Introduction: lines 40-43: citation is required.
Page 2:
Line 3: grammar.
Lines 3-15: revise, unclear meaning and a long sentence.
Line 15-20: argument is debatable; I would argue that novice students spend long time
training in the lab prior to going to the clinical areas. In addition, student accumulate their
knowledge as they practice under the supervision of the nurse educators and preceptors
before they take care of any patient independently.
Lines 39-48: Long.
Lines 48-55: revise.
Page 3:
Lines 27-30,   32-36,   36-39: revise and rewrite.
Lines 39-41: revise and add citation.   Explain “acculturative”
Lines 53-56: rewrite.
Page 4:
Lines 3-6: revise.
Lines 6-13: revise and be consistent in the style of writing.
Line 20: revise.
Sample and settings: I suggest deleting the digit (as well those mentioned in the other
sections).
Line 40: revise.
Page 5:
Lines 6-15: revise.
Line 22: are you referring to the scores in your study? Explain.
Page 6:
Line 3: citation is needed here.
Lines 8-13: revise.
Ethical considerations: explain more about the disclosure
Page 7:
Data analysis: revise the paragraph.
Result: does the female ratio at your study represent similar ratio of the population in
total?
Not sure the “income” represents anything here. I suggest making it as follows: Low –
Moderate – High, depending on the country.
Page 8:
Lines 13 , 15: “was” instead of “were”.
Lines 20,  32: revise.
Page 9:
Line 11: word choice “adjusting”.
Line 30: revise, tense.
Lines 35-37: repeated, revise
Lines 37-42:  revise.
Page 10:
Line 18:  word choice “utilized”.
Lines 25-35: revise and rewrite rationale; you need to strengthen your argument.
Lines 36-40,  40-44, 44-49: revise.
Lines 49-54: revise and be careful with the tense.
Page 11:
Lines 3-5, 8-13: revise.
Lines 8-13: rewrite.
Line 27: citation is required.
Line 32: revise, tense.
Page 13:
Lines 6-13: long and needs revision.
Lines 15-22: long and requires citation.
Lines 22-27: revise.
Limitations:
Lines 41-46: elaborate more on the development of coping strategies.
Lines 51-53: How?
Page 14:
Lines 6-13, 39-51: revise and rewrite.

Good luck

Appreciate your effort to explore the student experience within the three countries in your
study. I believe the results have value for our psychiatric nurse colleagues There are an
array of typos and occasional sentence structure edits that may improve the content.
