Reasoning for each component. Well to start this is a system for a family. So, ease of use is a primary
function as well as being on a budget, so going with an All-in-one setup that fits the requirements this
family is looking for is an optimal choice for staying within their budget. This is a compact and easy to
use PC this family can put anymore they want it in their home without taking up too much space. It has
8GB build in RAM which is more than enough for all the streaming and work programs they would want
to do, its even enough for most games and kids may want to try and play. It comes with a 1Terabyte
hard drive with a 256GB solid state drive. This gives them more than enough space for all the programs,
photos, documents, saved videos and movies and more than they could likely need. This All-in-one
system is its own display so a separate monitor is not needed. The display is Full HD with a resolution of
1920x1080. The system also has a built-in wireless card for accessing the Internet via WIFI in case access
to a wired ethernet cable is not an option for ease of use when connecting online. Finally the system
includes a DVD/CD optical drive as well for running new programs, or even just popping in a DVD to
watch a movie.

For a printer I suggest the listed HP wireless printer. It’s a full color printer that connects to the
Internet and can print from any device also connected to the Internet, including the family’s new
computer and any smart phones they may have as well. It is simple and easy to use. It also has copying
and scanning capabilities for any work jobs that need them.
For a mouse, nothing special is needed. Just found a cheap but reliable wired mouse that has a
rainbow RGB lighting to it. Having it light up helps to see it when doing late night computer activities in
the dark.
For the keyboard, same as with the mouse. Going with a keyboard labeled as a “gaming”
keyboard just meant finding one designed to be a bit more durable and will last longer, especially for
any small kids that may hit the keys a little harder than they should. This keyboard also has a
customizable RGB light up that the family can set to be any color they choose. A backlit keyboard is also
useful for any late-night use in the dark to make typing a lot easier on the eyes with less squinting in the
dark. This keyboard also has macro functionality if this family desires to set up custom keyboard
commands for shortcuts on their system.
For email I would suggest using either Microsoft Outlook with whichever Microsoft Office
service they have, or using Google Gmail online for free since it is super easy to access anywhere on any
device as needed.
For a budgeting program, I would suggest Honeydue. It is free, easy to use for tracking spending
and setting up customizable alerts. It is available on PC and smartphones for ease of access to track your
budget easily.
Internet browser I would recommend either Firefox or Google Chrome. Both are vastly superior
to the built in Microsoft Edge browser and are free to download and set up. Both are designed with ease
of access in mind and can be customized with add-ons to make the kind of browser you want. Including
safety and parental controls as needed for possible young ones.
Overall, this system and other addons fits within this family’s budget and will provide them
everything they wanted from a new computer system and more. They should be very pleased if they
follow this system specifications table for buying their new system.
