This document details Air Canada Online (i.e. ACO) and Air Canada Agent Direct Online (i.e. ADO) booking flow as it has been implemented during phase 1a of the Air Canada project. A separate document describes the Air Canada Online (ACO) Car booking flow.

Domestic / Transborder booking flow
Domestic and Transborder markets will be managed through the same booking flow

[1] - When the user switches between displaying only upgradeable fares or not [2] - When the user has selected a fare family eligible to a discount, he will be offered to selected one or many options (discount, add-on or non-air option) on a series of Discount Selection pages. If no option is available, then this page is not displayed. The page is not displayed if only non-air options are available. [3] - The seatmap prompt page (SEAP) is proposed to the end-user if at least one air segment is seatmap compatible. Under special conditions, the SEAS page might be displayed directly.

[1] In ACO, the BKGD page can be accessed directly from HMPA by entering passenger last name and booking reference information even if the end-user is not logged in. The user will have to enter his credit card on BKGD to perform any modification on his PNR. [2] The branch HMPA-BKGS is only available in ADO. The branch HMPA-BKGL is only available in ACO. [3] - BKCH page is a trip summary page from where changes are reflecting after being performed

PNR on-hold issue flow

The On-Hold issue will be available for all flows where On-Hold feature is supported. [1] - BKGD page only gives the possibility of confirming or cancel the booking. Other links to, for instance, change the booking are deactivated. For ACO flows, user has to accept fare rules and general condition. In case of pricing error, the GERR page will be displayed. [2] When final pricing differs from pricing displayed on BKGD and PURC, PURC is re-displayed with an error message and new price

Fare Rules Flight 1: Montreal (YUL) to Vancouver (YVR) - Tango

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Change Fee per direction is $40 CAD ($34 USD, 20 GBP) plus applicable taxes and any additional fare difference. Flights can only be used in sequence from the place of departure specified on the itinerary. Customers who no-show their flight will forfeit the fare paid. Paid Advance Seat Selection available for $15 CAD ($12 USD, 7 GBP) plus taxes per passenger for one-way flight from origin to destination including connections. Same-day standby is not permitted.
