Benefits of
Scholarships

Being awarded a scholarship not only means

that you are able to attend an Immerse summer
programme at a reduced cost, there are also a
number of long term benefits:

✓ You can include details of your summer

programme experience in future university
applications. In fact, UCAS recommend
this in their official Personal Statement
guidance.

✓ The Complete University Guide also

recommends that you mention subject-
specific pieces of work that have
received recognition such as awards and
prizes. You can read more about their
recommendations online.

✓ Having previously been awarded a

scholarship can add weight to future
scholarship applications or when applying
for educational sponsorship. Be sure to
include this on your CV!

✓ By attending Immerse this summer,

you will be able to benefit from the
expert teaching of passionate university
academics. You will also learn alongside
