BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 2021-02

SERIES OF 2021

“A BOARD RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL MANAGER NUMERIANO M. CASTAÑEDA, JR. TO SIGN

FOR SAN RAFAEL WATER DISTRICT THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO WITH THE
METROPOLITAN WATERWORKS AND SEWERAGE SYSTEM FOR THE BULACAN BULK WATER SUPPLY
PROJECT STAGE 3”.

WHEREAS, Resolutions 2008-246 and 2012-024, the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan
Waterworks and Sewerage System (MWSS) approved the Bulacan Bulk Water Supply Project (Project),
the purpose of which is to supply treated bulk water to, and alleviating the chronic water shortage and
providing the potable water need of the Province of Bulacan;

WHEREAS, San Rafael Water District being part of the Water Service Providers of the Provincial
Government of Bulacan will contribute the necessary aspect to the Project in order to realize its purpose
of fulfilling the water requirements of the Province of Bulacan;

THEREFORE, THE BOARD RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors
unanimously authorizes, Engr. Numeriano M. Castañeda, Jr., General Manager, to sign for and in behalf
of San Rafael Water District with regards to the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the Bulacan Bulk
Water Supply Project Stage 3;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that the copy of this resolution be furnished all authorities concerned for
their information and corresponding action;

UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED by the undersigned members of the Board of Directors this 8th day
of March, 2020.
