1. Scope
This method statement describes the method and procedures involved in the TT-4 Raft and
BC-03 Raft Mass Concrete Work. The technical specification and other relevant information on Machinery and
Equipment used in this works are included.
For Execution Quantity
 TT-4 Raft =179 Cum
 Bc-03- = 28 Cum
 Total Quantity = 207 Cum

5. Concrete Pouring Procedure

 Planning: As per Design Mix Approved by Third Party Control Office We have planned for mass concrete
in TT-4 and BC-03 Raft concrete on .
As per Approved Design Mix (Annexure- 01)
All ingredient such as cement, aggregate sand, & admixture, water test conducted as per approved test
frequencies, approved by third party also.
 Supply: Extreme care will take for Concrete timing, mixing with foreign material/Height of Drop. Concrete
batching plant capacity 60 cum/hrs. In addition, 3 no’s numbers of delivery trucks will be planned to
maintain a continuous supply of concrete so that an introducing to cold joint can be prevented.
 At the batching, the first batch of the concrete shall be checked its temperature and Slump As per

approved design mix.

 Once the Completion of Concrete loading the truck will moving to site location and positioned as shown
(sketch -01).
 Access: Designated site access routes for concrete supply will be prepared and traffic control Measure
implemented. The proper access will be organized to enable a continuous transportation of the concrete
during the entire period of pouring. The total distance apprx 600 Rmt from plant to Site.
 Fresh concrete temperature shall be maintained below 30 degree at the time of placing.
 Considering awaiting time, placing time and Interval of mixer truck, arrival time and so on. From batching
plant to site shall be consider 45 min /Truck.
 Concrete Pouring shall be Carryout by using of Chute Method. The details sketch of the position of the
Truck and Chute (Annexure 1).
 Sufficient concrete Chute will be engaged for concrete placement in order that a flow pouring can be
achieved.
 In subjected to pouring of 30 cm layer consume quantity is 60 cum and pouring duration is Appx 2.5 hrs.
 According to the total quantity - 7.5 Hrs will be taken to complete the work
 Consolidation: Compaction of Concrete done by vibratory inserting needle by experienced mason. Total
three no’s of Concrete vibrator will be used to carry out the work.
 Curing Methodology: Water Curing Developed the Concrete Strength as well as Minimize the cracks so
we are using putting moist hessian cloths with mortar ponding over the exposed concrete surface and
wetting is pumped water at regular interval.
 Construction Joint: We have 40 liter Sika Latex available in site for Construction joints. (Technical date
sheet attached).
Safety and Environmental
All person will be issue personal protective equipment.
