OUR HISTORY
2013 – Forthress Philippines Corporation ventured partnership with its China
counterpart into fabrication of lightweight precast concrete panel to supply the ever-
growing construction industry in the Philippines.
The company has been in the business for three and a half years under the name
Thermozone Philippines Corporation as its marketing arm and has developed a state of
art technology – Forthress Lightweight Wall Partition.

2014 – Forthress Philippines Corporation was formally registered in Securities and

Exchange Commission, the same year Biñan plant started its full operation which
manufactures the latest innovation in lightweight precast wall partition with annual
production capacity of 250,000 sqm. It is currently being used in construction industry
by several reputable developers throughout the Philippines.

2015 – Under the name of Thermozone Philippines Corporation the company was able
to penetrate the construction field and cave one of the leading suppliers and
subcontractor of the S&I of lightweight precast panel specifically projects under
Ayala/MDC.

2018 - To cater the increased needs of construction industry and save logistic cost of
our client, second manufacturing factory which can manufacture 250,000 sqm. annually
was constructed in Cebu Island to supply clients and projects located in Visayas and
Mindanao area.

2019 – Completion or projects under Vista Land.

2020 – Amongst the first in the industry who has been certified with the new building
code requirements;

ADVANTAGES OF FORTHRESS BOARD
1. Environmental Friendly
The Forthress Board does
not contain asbestos and is 100%
recyclable.
3. Increase Useable Space
Compare to 6 inches CHB
wall system, Forthress Board may
occupy only half of that thickness
thus giving you more useable space.
5. Water and Moisture Resistant
Without any need for further
waterproofing, Forthress Board can
resist water and moisture. It can also
be used on frequently wet areas
such as kitchen and bathroom.
7. Easy to Install
The Forthress Board is very
lightweight that it can be carried by
2 persons. Installing it is relatively
clean since there is no need for
massive mixing of sand and cement.
9. Can be Nailed or bolted thru
The Forthress Board is
durable enough to be nailed or
bolted upon with the use of
expansion bolt. Appliance such as TV
wall, air-con, and other wall
decorations can be mounted on the
wall.
2. Fire Resistant
The Forthress Board has been
certified to withstand 1000C heat
and fire without caving in and
without emitting harmful gasses to
humans
4. Quick Install
Since Forthress Board is
manufactured precast. Due to its
tongue and groove system it is
quicker to install.
6. Better Sound Insulation
The Forthress Board has a
good sound insulation characteristic.
For a 90mm thick wall, it can
effectively reduce sound travel from
the other side of the room by as
much as 43 DB.
8. Thermal Insulation
The pellets inside the
Forthress Board serves as good
thermal insulators thereby reducing
energy costs particularly on air
conditioning units.
10. Lightweight
The weight of the Forthress
Board is only 30% of that traditional
concrete method, and will translate
to a significant amount of savings
on structural cost.
 BACKGROUND AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Due to the ever increasing demand for livable space, the construction industry is
determined to address it by providing fast and efficient living quarters. It is for this reason that
our company has invested a lot of effort on research and development on coming up with a
product that will suitably cater to that need. While adopting the German Technology and
making some modifications, our company was able to come up with our own lightweight
concrete precast panel which can be used on interior partition walls.
 APPLICATION GUIDELINES

Layout
Recommended that the handover area is complete
with inner and outer markings, it is necessary prior to
Forthress Board installation and alignment.

Horizontal Hauling
Determining the proper vertical plumpness and
alignment of the wall is necessary. One piece of
Forthress Board about 1.4884 m² can be handled by 2 persons.

Cutting
Hand tools with diamond blade cutter can be used to
cut the Forthress Board for site fitting.

Joining Application
Wet both sides of the surface where the Forthress
Board is going to be joined together before applying tile
adhesive mixture.

Fitting
Press the Forthress Board to squeeze out the excess
tile adhesive mixture in between the joint using a craw
bar. Then remove the squeezed out excess of tile
adhesive mixture from the wall’s surface using wet
sponge.
Reinforcement
Use 10mm ɸ x 200mm long dowel to connect the
board to the floor and slab. For board to board
connection use the same specs of dowel using a 45-
degree angle.

Pipe Embedment
Cut a groove on the Forthress Board using cutting
hand tools to lay the electrical pipe and the outlets as
well. Fill in with using pure tile adhesive.

Finishing
Apply the mixed structural epoxy with silica sand on
every joints after 7 days of installation, let the joint cure
For another 7 days after treating the joints in
preparation for the painting procedure. You may use any
brand of skim coat for the wall.

Installation of Lavatory and Cabinets

The Forthress Board is durable enough to be nailed
or bolted upon with the use of expansion bolt.
Appliance such as TV wall, air-con, and other wall
decorations can be mounted on the wall.

Termination of Wall to Structural Membrane

Fill in the Seismic Gap using 12mm flat backing rod
and paintable Polyurethane Sealant on top (any
brand).
