BIM (Building Information Modelling) Recruitment Summary: (Scan to BIM)

Preferred Qualifications:

 Knowledge and experience in the disciplines within the AEC industry

 Advanced knowledge in building information modelling programs and applicable
techniques
 Expertise in Revit
 To be knowledgeable in As-Built Models (Arch/Struct/MEP) (Scan to BIM) using
Point cloud data. Ability to lead & Coordinate with the team.
 Experience with a variety of BIM software including but not limited to: Revit,
Navisworks, and BIM360 Design Suite. Exposure to Engineering Coordination
with all Engineering Disciplines using Revit and Navisworks.
 Creating Revit Parametric families by Specifications/CAD Drawings.
 To be an advanced user in Revit (Architecture/Structure and MEP), CAD,
Navisworks and Autodesk Recap.
 Familiarity with Autodesk Revit API (Application Program Interface) & Dynamo.
 Should be proficient in MS Office and other Windows applications.
 Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
 MEP knowledge is an added advantage.

Minimum Requirements:

 Progressive experience in BIM/3D Modelling, with a focus on Autodesk Software

Suite
 Experience utilizing Revit
Roles & Responsibilities of a BIM Modeller:

 BIM Modelling for specific design disciplines.

 Work under the direction of a design professional and BIM Job Captain.
 Ensure construction documents accuracy based on discipline BIM Modelling.
 Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines’ design changes and model
challenges.
 Adhere to BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
 Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
 May take the lead on developing some discipline-specific BIM modelling
content for a project.
 Prepare own discipline model and/or content for BIM Coordination
 Prominent level of communication and proficient writing skills.
 Leveraging BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design
documentation.

Software Expectations:

 One flavour of BIM platform such as REVIT® Architecture, Structure & MEP
 AutoCAD – for drawing linkage and clean-up.
 Design Review – for collaboration with professional staff.
 General understanding of interoperability between software used to
accomplish own discipline tasks
