1. INTRODUCTION
WANE ELECTRO TECH is a company with a license of electro mechanical contractor which
engaged in both electrical and mechanical (Electro Mechanical) works mainly focus on fuel station
maintenance service and Installation (All equipment and Machines in fuel Industry including
Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems) and industrial electrical and electronics machine installation
and maintenance. We are widely focusing on solar energy systems involving in design, installation
and Maintenance for all solar power system projects. The company is operating under legal
License: Level 5 Electro Mechanical Contractor

Brief History
Wane electro tech established in January 31st, 2001G.C under Ethiopian law Registration number
07/1/01/59/96 at Government of Addis Ababa Trade & Industrial development bureau by its
founder Wondu Sebsibe. Since 2001 G.C it is operating and engaged in several electro mechanical
works in different regions of Ethiopia. During this time wane electro tech has been working with
different huge and well known Oil companies such

In addition to this we have worked on different industrial companies and firms. At the
beginning of 2018 we are face on solar energy system installation and maintenance,
Installation of distribution panel to Industries and any water works widely. Within these
operational seasons we have achieved a great experience and successful contribution to our
clients and other related bodies.

Wane electro Tech continues to move forward in become the leading Engineering and electro
mechanical firm in Ethiopia and eventually. The region by consist entry delivering projects
that meet international stand areas.

fundamental drivers, instrumental in achieving our goals our mission

commissioning of electromechanical equipment, plant, systems, and turnkey projects; and
also in Electromechanical services.

3. MAJOR BUSINESS AREAS


The major business areas we are actively and extensively engaged in are:

CONTRACTING – we give the best and professional system installation, test and
commissioning for fuel stations and industries. In addition, we also provide reliable
dispensing and service equipment maintenance. We provide expert advice on spare parts of
dispensing and service equipment for all fuel and industrial applications.

ELECTRO – MECHANICAL SERVICES- we have the best preventive and breakdown


maintenance in house/workshop as well as fully outsourced systems.

SOLAR POWER SYSTEMS- Design, supply and implementation of solar systems for
street lighting, water pumping. And maintenance of solar system accessories / PV,
INVERTER, CHARGE CONTROLLER AND BATTERIES.

MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY- We manufacture and assemble various


electrical and mechanical systems including but not limited to Control board, Distribution
board , motor starters Automatic Transfer Switch for Stand by Generator Sets, Different
shades or Canopies for Generator Sets dispensing unit, pole light with fixture and Shades,
Structural Steels, Trusses.

Wane electro tech philosophy is to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity. Wane
electro tech has established workshop facilities equipped with machines, equipment and tools.

Our work shop is situated in Addis Ababa where all major clients are located, and satellite

Management Commitment
 The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH has provided evidence of its
commitment to the development and implementation of the Quality management

commitment, and as a clear reminder of our direction,
 Continued reinforcement of the quality policy by Top Management to ensure
understanding and commitment at all levels within WANE ELECTRO TECH
Management reviews are conducted according to this Quality Manual.
 The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures the necessary resources
are available according to, Planning, Management Review and Resource Management
of this Quality Manual.

Customer Focus
 The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures that customer needs are
determined, converted to requirements, and achieved in accordance with the Quality
Management System defined in this Quality Manual on monitoring and Measurement
and customer related process in the following aspect.
-Determination of Requirements Related to the Services,
- Review of Requirements Related to the Services,
- Customer Satisfaction, and
- Measurement and Monitoring of Products.
 Top management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures that customer satisfaction is a
continuous focus of its efforts through management reviews and awareness of
employees at all levels.
7. QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
General Requirements
WANE ELECTRO TECH has established, documented, implemented, and maintained a
Quality Management System as defined in this Quality Manual.

 The lists of documents that make up the Quality Management System are annexed to
this Quality Manual.
 The Quality Management System is based on a “process approach” to quality
management.

The processes needed for the Quality Management System that include, product realization,
management, measurement, analysis and improvement, and resource provision processes,
and their application throughout the scope of implementation are determined (See Figure 1
below).

The criteria and methods needed to ensure that both the operation and control of these
processes are effective are determined as defined in this Quality Manual.

 The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures the availability of


resources and information necessary to support the operation and control of these
processes in accordance with Section Resource Management System of this Quality
Manual.
 The monitoring, measurement (where applicable) and analysis of these processes are
done in accordance with the Management Review Process - and methods determined
in section of this Quality Manual.
 The actions necessary to achieve planned results and continual improvement of these
processes are implemented through Corrective and Preventive Actions Procedure and
the Management Review Process

necessary to ensure the effective planning, operation and control of its processes.

Levels of QMS Documentation


LEVEL 1: Quality Manual

Provides the Quality Policy and the method by which WANE ELECTRO TECH
meets the standard requirements or refers to procedures, where appropriate.
LEVEL 2: Operational Procedures

Define sequence of activity steps, responsibilities and methods and criteria for
effective operation and control of processes. Procedures reference Work
Instructions, Forms, Flow Charts and Records, where applicable.

LEVEL 3: Work Instructions

Provide detailed step-by-step instructions, Work Instructions, Reference Forms,


Flow Charts, and Records where applicable.

LEVEL 4: Forms
Provide documented evidence of implementation.

Quality Manual

WANE ELECTRO TECH has established and maintained this Quality Manual that includes:

a) The scope of the Quality Management System including details of and justification for
any exclusion,
b) The method by which WANE ELECTRO TECH meets the standard requirements or
cross-reference documented procedures established for the Quality Management
System, and
c) Sequence, interaction and descriptions of processes that make up our Quality
Management System.

Control of Documents

WANE ELECTRO TECH identifies and controls documents and data in any media that relates
to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. The control of these documents is performed in
accordance with the Documents Control Procedure this procedure addresses the following
issues:

a) To approve documents for adequacy prior to issue,


b) To review and update as necessary and re-approve documents,
c) To ensure that changes and the current revision status of documents are identified,
d) To ensure that relevant version of applicable documents are available at points of use,
e) To ensure that documents remain legible and readily identifiable,
f) To ensure that documents of external origin determined by WANE ELECTRO TECH
to be necessary for the planning and operation of the quality management system are
identified and their distribution controlled, and
g) To prevent the unintended use of obsolete documents, and to apply suitable
identification to them if they are retained for any purpose.

Control of Records

 The level of performance of the Quality Management System processes is documented


and controlled through the use of quality records. These records are established and
maintained to provide evidence of conformity to requirements and of the effective
operation of the Quality Management System.

 Records are controlled according to the Records Control Procedure - This procedure
ensures the proper identification, storage, retrieval, protection, retention time and
disposition of quality records.

The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH is committed to provide quality products
and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements through establishing,
implementing, maintaining and reviewing a Quality Management System which complies
with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 for the Manufacturing, Supply, Installation, Erection,
Test & Commissioning and Services of Electro-mechanical Works and Trading activities.

We at WANE ELECTRO TECH are committed to follow a quality policy based on the concept
of Dynamic Quality. The purpose of Dynamic Quality is to ensure total satisfaction of our
Customers, Share holders and Employees by enabling the profitability of the company
through:-

c. Organizing responsible, accountable and motivated employees.

Verification of understanding is assessed as part of the Quality Management System through
internal quality audits. The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures that the

b. Includes a commitment to comply with the requirements and continually
improve the effectiveness of the Quality Management System,
c. Provides a framework for establishing and reviewing quality objectives,
d. Is communicated and understood within our organization, and

Planning
Quality Objectives
The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures that quality objectives, including
those needed to meet requirements for product are established at relevant functions and levels
within the organization. The quality objectives are measurable and consistent with the quality
policy and include the planning of product realization to include the quality objectives and
requirements for the product.

When objectives are established, management considers the following:

a) Current and future needs of the customers,


b) Relevant findings from management review meetings,
c) Product and process performance,
d) Levels of satisfaction, internal and external,
e) Audit results,
f) Competitor analysis, bench marking, new opportunities for improvement, and
g) Continually sourcing new resources needed to fulfill quality objectives

The Top Management delegates, as appropriate, the personnel that contribute to the
achievement of the quality objectives through documented corrective action forms, memos,
nonconformance reports, audit reports or any other documentation that is pertinent.
Objectives are systematically reviewed or revised, as necessary.

Quality Management System Planning

 The Top Management of WANE ELECTRO TECH ensures that:


a) The planning of the Quality Management System is carried out in
order to meet the requirements.
b) The integrity of the Quality Management System is maintained when
changes to the Quality Management System are planned and
implemented.

10. PRODUCT REALIZATION

Planning of Service
Realization

Quality planning is carried out before service realization proceeds. During this planning, Top
Management identifies:

a) The quality objectives and requirements for the service,


b) Processes, documentation and resources required,
c) Verification, validation, monitoring, measurements and inspection activities,
d) Criteria for service acceptance, and
e) Records needed to provide evidence that the service meet requirements

 The Top Management ensures this planning is consistent with the requirements of the
other processes of the Quality Management System.

Determination of Requirements Related to the Service

WANE ELECTRO TECH determines requirements related to the service utilizing:

a. Requirements specified by the customer, including requirements for delivery and


post-delivery,
b. Requirements not stated by the customer but necessary for specified or intended
use, where known,
c. Regulatory requirements related to the service, and
d. Any additional requirements considered necessary by WANE ELECTRO TECH.

Review of Requirements Related to the Service


 WANE ELECTRO TECH reviews requirements related to the service with Assessment
Procedure - This assessment and review shall be conducted prior to our commitment
to provide a service to the customer (submission of tenders, acceptance of contracts or
orders, acceptance of changes to contracts or orders) and ensures that:
a. Service requirements are defined,
b. Contract or order requirements differing from those previously expressed are
resolved, and
c. WANE ELECTRO TECH has the ability to meet the defined requirements.
 Records of the results of the assessment and review and actions arising from the
assessment and review are maintained.

 Where the customer provides no documented statement of requirement, the customer

of auditors and conduct of audits ensure objectivity and impartiality of the audit
process. Auditors do not audit their own work.
c) The management responsible for the area being audited has the responsibility to
ensure that actions are taken without undue delay to eliminate detected
nonconformities and their causes. A follow-up activity includes the verification of the
actions taken and the reporting of verification results in accordance with the
Corrective and Preventive Action Procedure -
d) The scheduling of audits is determined on the basis and importance of the activity to

Safety Checklist

Hazards
The dispenser must be isolated before starting works and switch of the main supply locked in
the OFF position. Not only dispenser; submerged pump must be isolated too. And these all
are the safe work conditions for the technicians.

Cladding and dismantled packaging must be stored in such a way as injuries persons or to
avoid damage to components. Be sure that ensure the right place for the retaining catch to
prevent the cover falling onto persons who’s in the area.
Ensure each person read the user instruction at the unattended service station.

Warning Signs
The following warning signs are fitted as standard, on the dispenser; however, they may vary

Emergency Button and Switch


On both attended and unattended service stations, the following devices, not placed on the
dispenser, should compulsorily be installed:

• An emergency button for switching off the power supply to the whole area concerning
refueling operations. Such button must be easily accessible to the operative staff and, if placed
outdoor, it must be protected against any accidental operation.
• An emergency switch for switching off the power supply of the dispensers and other electrical
equipment. Such switch must be easily accessible to the operative staff.

NEVER RUN A LEAKING PUMP!

• The zone around the fuel dispenser must be suitably lit, so that refueling operations are carried
out in complete safety.
• Engine and light of vehicles to be refueled must be switched off.
• Ensure that working surface is dry in order to avoid danger of slippage.
• Before beginning refueling operations ensure-by checking visually- that delivery hose is
intact, that is without any defect that could cause fuel loss.
• On removing the nozzle from its seat, ensure that the lever is in non-refueling position. Before
starting delivery, the nozzle must be carefully introduced into the tank of the vehicle to be
refueled. On replacing the nozzle, ensure that the lever is back in non-refueling position.
• During refueling hold the nozzle and do not left it unattended in the vehicle tank.
• The fuel dispenser has been specifically designed to meter fuels and pour them into vehicle
tanks or into special legally-approved containers. Any other use is to be considered incorrect.
• To avoid incorrect function and/or to prevent fuel dispensers from damaging, make sure that
there is enough fuel in each tank.
