Class I have here a nursery rhyme
entitled Mr. Shape and what are
going to do is follow the actions in the
song. Understand? All: “Yes Ma’am.”

How are you this morning? (pupils will sing)

My eyes are square, but I’m okay
My ears are circles, but I’m okay

B. PRESENTATION
Now can you tell me how Mr. Shape His eyes are square, ears are circles, nose
describe himself? is a triangle, his head is square, mouth is
rectangle and hair is triangle.

and inside of it is you need to recognize
the shapes given by coloring it. I will you 5
minutes to answer understand?

The basic shapes chart contains the most

common shapes that your child will
encounter – square, rectangle, circle,
oval, triangle and diamond.
These shapes are also the simplest for
your child to draw.
SQUARE-have four sides with same
length.
( example windows)
RECTANGLE-are almost the same with
square but their sides are not all the same
size.
(example black board)
TRIANGLE- have three sides
(example ice-cream cone)
STAR- are made of small triangle that has
a five corners and 10 sides.
(example star fish)
CIRCLE- has no sides.
(example wall clock)

Identify and color the shapes given.
