B. PRESENTATION

The basic shapes chart contains the most


common shapes that your child will
encounter – square, rectangle, circle,
oval, triangle and diamond.
These shapes are also the simplest for
your child to draw.
SQUARE-have four sides with same
length.
( example windows)
RECTANGLE-are almost the same with
square but their sides are not all the same
size.
(example black board)
TRIANGLE- have three sides
(example ice-cream cone)
STAR- are made of small triangle that has
a five corners and 10 sides.
(example star fish)
CIRCLE- has no sides.
(example wall clock)

Identify and color the shapes given.
