When we wake up each day, we frequently check our phones for updates; these
updates could be concerning your employment, school, or leisure activities. We use our
smartphones to read news about what is going on in the world. Technology improves our
lives, and we cannot reject its benefits due to its convenience. We rely on it because it is
convenient. That when we overuse it, we miss out on something in life. Observe everyday
activities such as dining during a family supper. Instead of engaging in genuine discussion,
one may be distracted by TikTok on her mobile phone. As globalization brings people closer
together, technology is also separating and isolating us. However, it is obvious that
technology benefits us, but excessive usage of it causes us to become more individualized.
This must be discussed because practically everyone is affected by this phenomenon. As a
citizen, I am troubled and saddened by the concept that technology is separating us from one
another; that we are becoming more reliant on technology.

It is ironic that the rise of globalization in terms of technology is bringing us closer

together, but in a more precise sense, technology is separating us, as if each person has their
own enormous bubble that separates them from one another. It is understandable that we are
all social animals who must interact with one another. People, by nature, adapt as we become
more involved in technology, and the more we adapt to the ease that technology gives, the
more we become accustomed to and rely on it. People are becoming busier and more absent;
thus, others will rely on artificial technology to express their thoughts and feelings.

Nonetheless, despite its drawbacks, technology benefits everyone. Globalization

raises awareness of the increasing interdependence of social lives in a borderless globe that
merges into a single social sphere or global village. Globalization is the process of bringing
the world's countries closer together in terms of economy, politics, communication, and
achieving international integrity via the interplay of products and ideas. Technological
progress has a significant impact on income levels and living standards. Globalization is one
of the most important dynamics with which technology has a close link. With the advent of
capitalism, digital technologies, and innovation, the integration of economies through
financial flows demonstrates this proximity. Digitalization and digital transformation are
becoming major bodies of technology in today's globalized society. Human-like robots,
artificial intelligence, and robot dogs are some of the most notable examples of the new
industry age known as Globalization 4.0 or Industry 4.0. That is why, nowadays, we cannot
picture life without technology, as we rely on it to make our lives easier than ever before.

To conclude what has been said, the digital world, which has both positive and
harmful aspects, causes us to think more about technology. We shall all wait and see what
artificial intelligence and emerging technologies will bring to the table. Globalization
encourages technological advancement, and individuals become more reliant on it. Actual
communication is gradually dwindling as we become more dependent on it. We can't help but
live in this depressing world. However, there is always hope for everything and that people
would grasp the importance of actual communication - where one is heard and may shout out
tales that are unheard.
