A) Discuss one way in which each of the following has improved in the last ten years

Information processing- it got more advance. In the past ten years development of
information processing means first began slowly and sped up dramatically in the past
few decades.

Storage Technology- it got more advance.

B) Outline one function of each of the following tools as use in the transmission of
information.

Router- is to spread the wifi signals or other kind of information to one network to
other network. They are necessary to facilitate communication between computers
and the Internet. It also manages the path along which information is forwarded
within a network. 

HUB- is to allow communication between devices so that data can be transmitted

from one computer to another.

Network interface card- Is data transfer between the computer or devices. The
connectors or buses act as an intermediator for communication converts the
communication between various devices from serial communication to parallel
communication or parallel communication to serial communication

b) Outline the function of each of the components identified
Hardware- is the physical parts of a device or an information technology system,
which can be seen example- mouse. Hardware provide support for major functions
such as input, processing.
Software- is a set of instruction (a program) that tells a device how to perform a
particular task. Software controls the hardware and do user's specified work also
views the information to users.
 Network- is a group of connected devices that can communicate and share
network resources. Most information technology system are networked so that
information can be shared, stored, manipulate and manage easily in standard and
control environment.

c) Outline the relationship between operating system and application software

Operating system -is a program or a set of instruction that enables communication
between a user, hardware and application software While application software is a
program or a set of instruction that carry out specific task.
