ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT
BACKGROUND OF THE ACTIVITY
HIGHLIGHT OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
The identified objectives and targets for the activity were met. The following were
Impact / Results
noted during the Brigada Pagbasa Program Launching.
1.The activity started with a motorcade which attended by the teachers, parents,
stakeholders and volunteers. An opening program followed managed by the

2. Marivic M. Abada, PCES Reading Coordinator talked about Brigada Pagbasa
Advocacy while Michael M. Artizo – School Head of Pagsangha CES gave his
Welcome Message. He also explain and share additional inputs regarding the
activity.
3. PCES Teachers showcase their talents by presenting a Tongue Twisters in
Chorus in different languages namely: English, Filipino and Waray.
4. Selected pupils of PCES served as our Mystery Readers Fuji B. Tan, a grade
6 pupil and Franchesca T. Repol, a grade 5 pupil. They deliver their story
through audio visual presentation.
5. The Barangay Captain of Brgy. Canlapwas gave her message of support. Also
the representatives of other barangays.
6. Right after the short program, all participants went to the Reading Garden
which is just a walk away from the venue,and to the Reading Wall for the
Expression of Compliment thru hand printing lead by the School Head, Sir
Micgael M. Artizo, followed by the Brgy. Captain and the other representatives
together with the other stakeholders, volunteers and teachers. Singing of “The
More We Get Together” in Waray version.
7. The last part marks the highlight of the activity, the opening of the Community
Reading and Mentoring Hub in the 4 barangays with each team, Brgy.
Captains, Brgy. Kagawads and volunteers. The School Head, Sir Michael M.
Artizo witnessed the cutting of ribbons in each hub.
8. The District ALS Coordinator and the Mobile Teacher were present during this
activity.

POST-ACTIVITY EVALUATION
Active participation was observed not only on the part of teachers but to the
Stakeholders and most of all the volunteers because they will be the partners of
Participants’ the school on this advocacy..Their learnings and insights gained were attested
Feedback through their message of support and by imprinting their hand prints which
symbolizes sincere commitment, another is their positivity to face challenges of
education in the new normal setup.
Methodology:
The following were used: (1) Planning conference with teachers lead by the
Reading Coordinator assisted by the School Head about the launching activity.
Agreement on the date, the venue and other concerns for the success of the
program. (2) Organize teams in the four barangays for the purpose of the
remedial classes.and their schedules.(3) Assigned different committees for the
Brigada Pagbasa Program launching like:Stage Committee, Program Committee,
Food ,Technical and Invitation Committee.. (4) Schedule for Formal Orientation
with the volunteers on the remedial classes.(5) Proposed a recognition rite to

award and appreciate stakeholders who served as partners in delivering
education to the learners.
Management of the Activity:
Marivic M. Abada, the Reading Coordinator, was the over all in-charge in the
preparation of the Brigada Pagbasa Program Launching with the cooperation and
support coming from the teachers and encouragement from the school head. Dr.
Deogene Uy Dapuran the District Supervisor extend his congratulatory remarks
and appreciation to the teachers, parents,stakeholders,volunteers, especially to
the School head and the Reading Coordinator for a successful event.
Logistics Arrangements:
All expenses incurred in the conduct of this activity can be charged against
MOOE/Local Fund following the usual rules of auditing/accounting.
