FADE IN: INT. ART OPENING- DAY Jonathan is setting up a stool on a stage (or raised platform) to start his art opening. Wesley, Ryan, and Erin are the only people at his opening. JONATHAN (Moving his stool forward) Alrighty! Welcome everyone to my amazing art opening. ROLLING: WESLEY, RYAN AND ERIN IN AUDIENCE. JONATHAN (A little let down) So it appears to me, there must of have been some traffic coming here. He starts to stand and walk off stage depressed that no one came to his art opening. Erin gets up and walks out. EXT. OUTSIDE OF STUDIO- DAY Erin is outside on his phone. She appears to be calling someone. She puts the phone away and walks back inside. He sees Jonathan is not on stage so he goes back stage. INT. ART OPENING- DAY Jonathan is sitting in the back corner of the stage, he is depressed from the lack of attendance. Erin sits next to him. JONATHAN (sigh) I told you no one would come. ERIN (trying to cheer the depressed Jonathan) Dont worry! Your a great artist. JONATHAN (openly) Ive just spent so much time on art. Its my life, and the only life I want.

ERIN Its OK, I bet people just are running late. Erin gets up, to the sound of a cellular text message. He swiftly runs out the studio. EXT. OUTSIDE OF STUDIO- DAY Erin exits the door to meet/greet a large sum of art go-ers. He stands on a bench to gain a height advantage to talk to the crowd. ERIN (Yelling) Hey! Everyone! Alright. My friend Jonathan is in there with loads of talent. We need to make this not just a good art opening, but an AMAZING one! Come on! The crowd cheers and rushes into the building. INT. ART OPENING- DAY The crowd is rushing into the opening with a loud uproar. Jonathan quickly lightens and stands up and runs over to Wesley and thanks him. JONATHAN (Running towards Wesley) Wes! Oh my god! Thank you! Wesley says nothing, he just smiles and points towards Erin. Wesley runs to her. JONATHAN (contd) Thank you! Really! Erin how could you do this! I always wanted to start my career in art. ERIN Jon. Calm down. This is your moment, go on stage and shine. JONATHAN Thanks Erin. Jonathan starts to walk towards the stage when an artist stops him.

MRS. SHENDU (Astonished) Excuse me! Are you Jonathan Hanson? JONATHAN Why, yes I am. MRS. SHENDU Well, I am just amazed by your work. I am with MIT and would to offer you a four year scholar ship for our fine arts degree. JONATHAN Really? MRS. SHENDU (Hands him a card) Give MIT a call and ask for the fine art department. Well hook you up. I cant wait to hear your presentation. JONATHAN (Excited and very jitter-y) Really, miss, thank you. Jonathan runs onto the stage he begins to talk but his voice is not herd due to compelling heartfelt music. INT. ICE CREAM SHOP- DAY Wesley, Erin, Jonathan, and Ryan are all at an ice cream shop sitting in a both. Everyone except Erin has ice cream. Erin is directly across from Jonathan. Also, all the friends have soft drinks (any kind of drink, as long as its on a average, diner cup. RYAN (Picks up his drink) I would like to propose a toast to my friend Jonathan. Everyone? ERIN To Jon! To Jon! WESLEY To Jon! and his amazing art show! RYAN

JONATHAN (quietly) And my scholarship to MITs fine arts program. ERIN (screaming loudly) WHAT! WESLEY Jon got offered a full scholarship to MIT because of his great works. ERIN (Angry) When did you plan on telling me? WESLEY I didnt want to say anything untill you got approved by MIT. Erin jumps up and screams! ERIN Im going to MIT with you! JONATHAN Oh My GOD! I love you guys. The friends all luagh. JONATHAN (contd) (V.O, Chuckles) Haha, I cant believe this is happening to me, my first art opening which is a huge sucess! Wow, I am such a luckly person to have such great friends like Erin and Wes. A high speed "montage" of Jonathans art show is shown. ROLLING: FOUR FRIENDS LAUGHING FADE TO BLACK THE END
