Padilla Director, Iloilo Doctors Hospital Province of Iloilo, Philippines Dear Dr. Padilla, The Indiana Philippine Medical Association, Philippine Professionals Association, Couples for Christ for Family and Life, Philippine Nurses Association, UST Medicine Class 1980 and Iloilo Doctors College of Nursing Class 1980 will co-sponsor a Medical Mission to Iloilo on January 23, 24, and 25, 2012. We will do minor Surgeries, cleft lip repairs, dental extractions, cataract extractions with lens implant and medical and obstetric consultations with free medications. The last medical mission we had in Virac, Catanduanes on February 24-28, 2009 we had 57 major surgeries, 190 minor surgeries including cleft lip repairs, 47 cataract extractions with lens implant, 250 dental extractions and 2,350 medical consultations with free medications. One afternoon was devoted to giving Lecture Updates on Medical Practice given to local physicians, nurses and paramedical personnel by medical and surgical consultants from Manila and USA. We would greatly appreciate if you could extend to our group assistance and support to make this mission a success. We humbly request, to have the use of your 2 operating rooms for cataract surgeries. We thank you in advance in anticipation of your positive response to support our groups humanitarian endeavor to deliver medical care to our less fortunate countrymen. Our past medical missions would not have been a success if we did not have the benevolent support of local government, hospitals such as yours, and kind hearted Filipinos who share our goal and commitment of delivering free healthcare and medical services to the poor segment of our society.
