Based on the graph above, the peak measured strain from test (microstrain Strain Gauge A (Grid 1), yellow)
indicates 202µƐ (microstrain)
Then compare this to the actual peak strain from the calculation (Max Principal Strain, mid-blue trace above it)
which is actually 462µƐ, and the strain difference is around 130%!
Strain Gauge A of the strain-rosette is misaligned by 41° from the Maximum Principal Strain, hence there is a very
large difference between the measured and calculated (true) microstrain.
