51
1. Pre-Cleaning
Step1 – Clean insertion tube
Do pre-cleaning as soon
as finishing the exam.
Wipe the insertion tube with a detergent dampened lint-free cloth after
withdrawing the endoscope from the patient's body.
52
1. Pre-Cleaning
Step2 – Flush suction channel
Enzyme solution
Suck water and air alternately, until the water and air could be seen
go into the suction bottle. Suck detergent for 30s, suck air for 10s,
repeat at least 3 times

59
1. Pre-Cleaning
Caution!
The light guide will be very hot after using, do not touch
as soon as unplugging from light source.
60
2. Leakage Test
The area between the blue border and the green tube is
the air inflating space while doing leakage test.
61
2. Leakage Test
Dry test
Put the endoscope on the table, connect leakage detector and add
pressure to 22Kpa(180mmHg);
Maintain the air pressure for 3 mins, if the pointer does not decrease
continually, the test is pass.
62
2. Leakage Test
Wet test
Immerse the scope which already add pressure into the water for 3 mins;
Turn the U/D and L/R knobs to adjust the angle of bending section;
If there are bubbles coming out, the leakage test is fail.
63
2. Leakage Test
Wet test
Take out the scope from the water, open the vent valve of the detector to release the
pressure until the pointer goes back to zero;
Disconnect the leakage detector from the waterproof cap.
64
2. Leakage Test
Caution!
Do dry test before wet test, make sure there are no serious leakage,
otherwise the water will flow into the scope to cause further damage;
If the wet test is failed, stop doing CDS, otherwise it will cause further
damage;
65
3. Manual Cleaning
Caution:
Do not make too
much foam of the
detergent solution
66
3. Manual Cleaning
3. Brush the suction channel from suction valve cylinder to distal end.
4. Repeat several times until there are no residue on the brush head

5. Brush the suction channel from the suction valve cylinder to the suction port;
6. Brush the instrument channel from the instrument channel port to the distal end.
7. Repeat several times until there are no residue on the brush head
68
3. Manual Cleaning
8. Brush the suction port, instrument channel port, air water valve cylinder
and suction valve cylinder.
9. Brush the air/water valve, suction valve and biopsy valve.
10. Connect the channel plug and injection tube to the endoscope, inject
detergent solution into the suction and A/W channel until no bubbles
comes out of the distal end.

87
Leakage test
The basic step is same with CDS, below extra operations are needed while doing wet test for spot
inspection.
1. Lift knobs lightly, confirm if the knobs is leaking or not, especially the sealing ring
2. Swing the insertion tube and universal cable segment by segment, especially check the bite mark.
3. Press remote buttons from different directions, confirm the buttons no leaking.
4. Use blowing dust ball to feed water into A/W, suction, auxiliary water channels, confirm there are
no bubbles come out of the channel.
88
Leakage test
If there is leakage problem, use waterproof tape to seal the leak point
temporarily, then find out other leak points.
89
Leakage test
Ensure instrument channel is unblocked

Bending angle
Measure the max angle, confirm the knobs tightness, ensure could locked tightly.
99
Function inspection
Let the distal end face to normal lamp, disassemble the light guide
cap, use magnifying glass to inspect how much light guide fibers are
broken at the light guide end. It needs to be repair if the fiber silks
are broken over 30%.

103
Function inspection
Image check-turn on lamp
1. Use alcohol wet cotton swab to clean the objective lens surface
2. Do white balance then confirm the image color and no dark corner.
3. Cover the objective lens with finger and move the finger on the lens ,
confirm there is no any not moving shadows on the image.

105
Function inspection
1. Install the air/water valve, suction valve, connect the suction pump and water bottle.
2. Switch on the air pump, immerse the distal end into the water, there should not be
bubbles come out in natural status.
3. Feeding air in water, there should be amounts of air bubbles come out of the water
4. Feeding water in water, after the air in the tube been exhausted, confirm there is no
bubble comes out of the water.
106
Function inspection
1. Feeding water inclining 45°, confirm the water jet out of the nozzle as a
straight line and cover the entire objective lens.
2. Feeding air, confirm the objective lens could be blow dry within the
required time.
Blow dry time: 10s; Total length colonoscope 15s (Air pump set to H level)
320/330 series have no blow dry time limit.
107
Function inspection
108
Function inspection
1. Connect the suction pump to endoscope and switch on, set the
suction level, gastroscopy set to 40KPa, colonoscope set to 70KPa.
2. Aspirate the water to confirm the suction function,
aspirate amount: over 400ml/min
109
Function inspection
1. Connect the auxiliary water feeding connector tube, use syringe to feed water
2. The water should eject out from the auxiliary water feeding outlet with straight
line status。
3. If the auxiliary water feeding tube is blocked, Use converted cell brush to clean
and unblock the tube.
1. Check the remote buttons, both the hand feeling and function.
