1.0 Introduction
The purpose of this procedure is to define the step-by-step method to implement the correct practices for
the pre-commissioning and commissioning of all the “Fan Coil Unit” through the guidelines contained
herein so as to ensure that the job execution complies with the project requirements and serves the intended
function to satisfactory level.
1) Civil work
All the civil works in the tested areas has to be finished.
2) Work environment.
Areas of works should be cleaned, dust free, and with adequate ventilation.

Before commissioning a checking of the completion of the system installation will take

B. In Case of Power on
NOTE:
Do not start the unit without filter, be sure the filter and the unit interior are clean.
Perform testing and balancing measurements for air side and water side.
Verify air flow for supply, return and fresh from balance report.
Chilled water GPM from balance report.
Hot water GPM from balance report.
Verify the air temperature on/off coil according to the approved material.
The FCU control sequence shall be in accordance with BMS system arrangement for each
FCU type.
All system T&C performance results shall be recorded on the approved test sheets.
