ADVOCACY

The most essential factor that contributes to the achievement of extremely

successful people is time management. Every person has 24 hours in a day, but how
they use that time differs from person to person. As a result, time management is a
critical component of leading a successful and stress-free life.

"The greatest significant distinction between money and time is that you
always know how much money you have but never know how much time you have."
Many people consider their time to be more valuable than their money. You can
generate more money, but you can't make more time or get back the time you've
wasted, even if you wanted to.

One of the most important benefits of time management is that it enables us

to be more productive by allowing us to regulate how we spend our time. We can
concentrate better on critical tasks, which leads to increased efficiency. A person
who understands the value of time management skills is more likely to make better
choices. You won't have enough time to understand and foresee the consequences
of your decisions if you don't manage your time well.

Advocating for time, consciousness, and honesty is a vital effort for persons'
inner growth. There will be a correlative value for self-esteem and regard for others'
time if everyone is punctual and honest. These values cannot be taught, but they can
be instilled by simply modeling and practicing the behavior.

Bagong Negros Elementary School is one of the schools advocating time

consciousness and honesty through establishing different activities, and programs.
The school created by teacher core groups that are separated into four sections:
Curriculum and Instruction, Advocacy, Training, and Monitoring and Evaluation.
There are leaders and members in each core group. Maritess L. Bongaitan, Jay
Mark D. Del Rosario, and Irish C. Laput are in charge of curriculum and instruction;
April Rose D. Barol, Romailyn A. Dillano, and Renante C. Villabito are in charge of
advocacy; Lyndon A. Quines, Romelyn B. Camba, and Ellen Mae A. Lanticse are in
charge of training; and Reymond P. Samoranos, Riza R. Costailla, and Janice C. De
Asis are in charge of monitoring and evaluation. The goal of this group is to adhere
the documentation required for the program's implementation. Another group formed
by the school are parents and pupils’ W.A.T.C.H. officers; Parents W.A.T.C.H.

program of the Department of Education. These are well-organized group of officers
assists the school in disseminating information about the W.A.T.C.H. program to
their respective community.

The school promotes punctuality and honesty in order to support the

Department of Education's mission. The school organizes some programs to teach
teachers, parents, learners, and the community about time management and
honesty. Project ORASAN (Oras, Respetuhin, Alagaan, Seryosohin, Natin): In order
to implement this program, the school provided a clock to every purok in Barangay
Bagong Negros, Kiblawan, Davao Del Sur to have a common time in the distribution
and retrieval of modules. Another activity initiated by our school is the Early Bird
Award, which rewards teachers and parents who arrive early to school by giving
them certificates of appreciation, some of school supplies and slippers and etc. to
encourage them to manage and value their time.

In addition, the school also have Honesty Store to offer food for teachers, as
well as the school utility to prevent them from leaving the school and having less
contact with the community owing to COVID 19 restrictions. However, this business
encourages teachers to be honest by requiring them to place their money in a box if
they wish to purchase something.
The school created a website, www.bagongnegroses.school, and facebook
page where the W.A.T.C.H. page may be found. The following is the content of the
watch page: a visual collage representing W.A.T.C.H. activities, as well as the
organization's vision and mission. This website was created to quickly inform
stakeholders about all of the school's programs as well as the Department of
Education programs.

Through the monitoring and evaluation. The school uses a QR code method
to keep track of all of the students' module departure and arrival times. Every
Monday, the teachers are assigned into four puroks. Purok 1: Jay Mark D. Del
Rosario, Irish C. Laput, and Janice C. De Asis , Purok 2: Ellen Mae A. Lanticse,
Romelyn B. Camba, and Renante C. Villabito, Purok 3: Romailyn A. Dillano, April
Rose D. Barol and Riza R. Costanilla, Purok 4: Maritess L. Bongaitan, and Reymond
P. Samoranos. Each teacher will bring a cellphone to utilize for scanning of QR code
attached in the modules to determine or identify pupils who get and return modules.
This QR code method assists teachers and schools in effectively promoting time
awareness and honesty, as well as making it easier for them to do their work.

As a result, promoting this program to the school is difficult but necessary, as

it will teach you, as a teacher, parents, and learners, to value and respect the time
and time of others. This program's implementation will be successful if it is modelled.
You can't urge someone to arrive early and be honest if you can't do it yourself.

To summarize, time management is a critical skill that must be learnt and

mastered in order to live a healthier lifestyle. You will no longer be stressed if you
manage your time efficiently, and your work/tasks will be completed on schedule and
at a high standard.
