Tips and advice

● Create an everyday habit of learning (e.g: passive listening during lunch break, retrieval practice at the end of the day).
● Activities that help you acquire input should be placed next to activities that encourage you to create output.
● Save time for activities that bring you joy (e.g: Listening to music, Watching Netflix). Learning English should be fun!
● You can also block your schedule on Google Calendar so that the system can send you a reminder of when to study.

SMART Questions to ask yourself when making a study plan:

● Am I prepared to start studying at this hour, even if I won’t feel like it? Be honest with yourself and don’t be too
ambitious.
● Will I certainly have enough time to take in this much information? Did I allow myself any break?
● Where will I study? Any constraints when studyin in that environment?
What materials do I need? Have I gathered all the necessary and suitable materials?
● How will I know I’ve understood? Quiz, Repeat to myself, Make notes?
