I. Course Description:
This course provides basic understanding of the four branches of Science. For Chemistry, it explains
the importance of conducting a scientific investigations, properties of solutions, concentrations and
properties of solution. For Biology, it shows the organization in the human body and other organisms,
plant and animal reproduction, cells and its parts, different levels of organization in the ecosystem.
For Physics it discusses force and motion, acceleration and velocity, motion of object in one
dimension, light, sound and heat waves, and charges and lastly, for the Earth Science it explores the
Philippine archipelago, atmospheric phenomena, and relationship of moon, sun and Earth.
