The council tax attributable to Liverpool City Council includes a precept to fund adult social care.

The percentage change between the previous year and the current year charges are detailed on the front of your bill. This enables you to see clearly
which of the precepting authorities are responsible for changes to the overall charge you have to pay. Legislative requirements state that the changes are
shown to 1 decimal place. The major preceptors actual increase for 2021/22 are; Liverpool City Council 1.99%, Merseyside Police and Crime
Commissioner 7.08% and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service 1.99%. From 1 April 2019, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has levied a
Council Tax precept which will be used to fund priority projects across the Liverpool City region.
For adult social care authorities, Council Tax bills show two percentage changes: one for the part of the overall change attributable to the adult social care

Change in circumstance - If your circumstances change it may affect the amount of Council Tax Support you get. You must tell us about any changes in
your circumstance in writing as soon as the change happens. The easiest way to tell us about a change is online at
liverpool.gov.uk/updateyourbenefitdetails. Please tell us even if you think we may already know or think that the change will not affect your entitlement.
It is your legal responsibility to keep us informed of any circumstances which relate to your claim. If you get Council Tax Support by providing incorrect
details or by not notifying us of a change in your circumstances that affects your entitlement or the amount you receive you could be prosecuted.

this letter or we may not be able to help. You can either tell us what information is wrong or ask us to look at the decision again, or ask for an explanation.
