It was a wonderful and enriching experience for me to sensitize students of classes 6 th to 12th in

Dr. Br. Ambedkar Govt. Boys Residential senior secondary school, Mandore, Jodhpur. We went
there to sensitize only class 10th to 12th students, but when we reached there, we found that other
students were also interested in knowing about the law as a carrier option. We asked all the
students what they want to become in the future. All students gave different answers. Only 1-2
students said that they want to become lawyers or judges. Post that, we asked them why others
don’t want to become lawyers or judges. We explained them about law as a carrier option and
how, in this field, they can grab great opportunities like other fields. We gave them an example
of one of their school seniors Mr. Dharu Singh (Alumni of NLUJ), who cleared the judiciary
exam and another senior member (Ashok Sagar) of their school doing law in NLUJ. When we
informed them about all these things, they showed never-ending interest in law as a carrier
option. Many of them asked us various queries regarding the CLAT and other law entrance
exams and we cleared all their doubts. I want to thank both the DTL – Daksha Bairwa and
Ujjwal Meena, who gave me this opportunity to interact with these students and make them
aware of how law as a carrier option can help them in every stage of their life.
