SUBJECT: QLAB / Q-Station Troubleshooting Tips


REVISED FOR: Added information regarding thumbnail images labelled “NO PREVIEW”
and error message “Viewing not possible, unknown error”.

SCOPE: Ultrasound, Software Products, QLAB, Q-Station.

PROBLEM: The user can experience problems with installation, uninstallation,


launching or configuration of QLAB or Q-Station.

CAUSE: Application implementation issues; user error or misunderstanding.

SOLUTION: Refer to the following table, which lists the most common sources of
difficulty and their resolution.

PROCEDURE: NOTE: At this time QLAB 10.7 (and higher) and Q-Station 3.7 (and higher)
have been validated for use with Windows 10. Win10 is not
supported in any prior Q product releases.

Application Fails to Launch
Before applying the methods described in this section, ensure:
1. The installation completed successfully.
2. The system was rebooted, or services restarted by selecting "Save" from Q-Assistant.
