1 . What is the difference between language proficiency from language performance?
Simply said, performance is the capacity to utilize language in a context, while proficiency is the
capacity. At the novice level, language learners must concentrate on memorization of
vocabulary and the fundamentals of language, therefore achievement exercises and
examinations are crucial and especially appropriate at this level. In other words, performance
entails "doing" something with the language, while competence involves "knowing" the
language.
2. What is the disadvantage of a commentary as an assessment strategy?
The disadvantage for me is that a commentary is merely giving feedback or insight into what is
the specified topic. You will not be able to pry deeper into the given topic of the commentary
because you will not know what the actual topic is. However, the commentary is essential
because it gives the readers a way to make sense of them.
3 , Which one is easier to make; a sketch or character evaluation? Justify
I think a sketch and character evaluation are connected to one another. A sketch will not work
properly with the help of the character evaluation. Both are necessary for doing and making
something that’s what I believe.
