2. Copy and paste “Recording TEMPLATE [KeyWAV].flp” to the Templates

folder.

2) OPEN TEMPLATE

3) BEAT / INSTRUMENTAL PREPARATION

1. Drag and drop your beat into the playlist track labeled “BEAT [here]”
2. Adjust the beat volume to around -4dB to -6dB (Loudest part).
3. Find the Key Scale to your beat, and set the “Pitcher” plugin to the
correct key scale.

4) RECORDING PREPARATION
1. Under “LEAD REC” within the playlist, select your audio input source.
2. Select “External input only” under your recording options.
3. Turn on ARM for recording.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the “ADLIBS REC”
5. PRESS RECORD
HELPFUL TIPS
● When recording vocals, make sure your signal reads around -4dB to -6dB. This
gives your project some headroom for mixing and mastering.
● To increase or decrease the brightness of your vocal mix, use the “Maximus”
High band (the yellow band) and slide it up or down to your liking.
● Use the mix level knob within the vocal chain to adjust the reverb, chorus, or
delays.
