The best shape that represents my Sunday experience is the heart as it

symbolizes love. The sermon last Sunday talks about the importance
of loving God in trying times.

The challenge of loyalty in the Lord is commonly experienced when

expectations lead to disappointment, when you work hard but still end
up a failure, and when you have to suffer miserably. Loving God is in our
hands and we know how much we love Him when life becomes tough.
Testing, nuisance, and trials are inescapable but Peter in the bible commends that
despite testing of our faith and having adversities, we must continue loving God. In 1 Peter
1:8-9, “8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you
believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result
of your faith, the salvation of your souls.” This just shows that even though we do not see God, we must
endure the trials and face them with faith and joy.

We should show that we are trusting the Lord by loving Him. It is our love for Him that matters during
hardships. We may not see Him, but we must listen and follow His leading in our lives. We must break
the bondage of isolation, intimidation, indifference, and insecurity to obey the Lord by continuously
serving Him, engaging with the saints in order to pray and learn the Word of God, sharing the Gospel in
unique ways, and by loving Him in intimate daily and weekly worship. God is pleased when we choose to
love Him. Love Him and He will certainly shower us with His grace and blessings.
