James Hart will be hosting the SSJHSA Conference Cross Country Meet at
Apollo Park in Homewood. Apollo Park is located 7 blocks to the south of
James Hart.

Directions to Apollo Park: From Dixie Highway and 183rd Street go south
on Dixie Highway to 187th Street. Take a left; you will be traveling east on
187th street. Take 187th street for about two miles to Morgan. This is about
three blocks past Center which is a four way stop. Take a right at Morgan.
Go three blocks; the park entrance will be on your right.
From 294/Halsted: From 294 take Halsted south for 2 miles. Take a right at
187th street you will be headed west. Go one block to Morgan Street and take
a left. Follow Morgan Street directly into the park.

Meeting and Race Times

9:15 - Coaches Meeting
9:30 - 7th Grade Girls Race
10:00 - 7th Grade Boys Race
10:30 - 8th Grade Girls Race
11:00 – 8th Grade Boys race
11:30 - Awards

• Race times are tentative, and the next race will start as soon as the
previous race has concluded.
• One coach from each school may be assigned a designated location on
the course. Locations will be provided during the coaches meeting.
• There will be NO walk through on the course – runners will run
behind a golf cart much like they do down at State.

We ask that all schools be at Apollo Park no later than 9:00 a.m. so all races will begin
on time. All runners will need to be off the course no later than 8:30. If you need any
