CAREER SUMMARY
14 years of ship design and project management experience - working as a team player, meeting
tight deadlines, and my attention to details has contributed to my success in the field of commercial
naval architecture and engineering.
Skilled at working and negotiating with vendors, suppliers, shipyards, shipowners and internal
cross functional team, in order to ensure design projects that meet cost, performance, and
schedule expectation of clients. Advanced my career as the overall in charge of design projects, ie
from vessel feasibility, conceptual, construction, commissioning and delivery before leaving the
marine industry in Singapore circa 2013.
Back in Ipoh, Malaysia since 2014 and joined the real estate industry due to family business
commitment. Started as a senior manager then promoted to General Manager within 2 years.
Successfully managed a 37 unit luxurious condominium upon issuance of certificate of completion,
compliance and competence (CCC). Launched and sold more than 90% of terrace / cluster houses
projects.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Conduct conceptual and feasibility study on vessel designs, producing General Arrangement,
Stability Study, Principal Structural Section (calculation and drawing).
Overall project in charge, liaison with classification societies, shipyard personnels and
shipowners. Producing scantling calculations, stability calculations, piping engineering and
electrical engineering drawings. Attending to all technical and management situations from
conceptual until successful delivery of vessels. Design portfolio under my supervision and
management as follows:-
2 unit x 84m RORO Landing Craft built in China, delivered 2013.
2 unit x 54m Landing Craft (1300 dwt), conversion as per Australian Maritime Safety
Authority (AMSA) Regulations, 2011
1 unit x 83m Ballasting Barge (4700 dwt) built in China, 2012.
2 unit x 56m Landing Craft (1700 dwt) built in China, 2012.
1 unit x 70m Bulk Transloader Crane Barge, built in Karimun, Indonesia, 2010.
1 unit x 98m Container Deckship with Cranes (6800 dwt) built in Indonesia, 2009.
1 unit x 97m Container Deckship (7100 dwt) built in Indonesia, 2009.
1 unit x 100m Self-Propelled and Discharge Coal Barge, built in Indonesia, 2008.
