THE ACCEPTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY AND AFFECTION ON RED PACKET CULTURE

BETWEEN THE CHINESE COMMUNITY IN MALAYSIA

Culture as the small group of national characteristics has varied into the usage of technology in
this day and age. The purpose of this study is to find out the acceptance of technology and
affection on red packet culture between the Chinese community in Malaysia. There are two
objectives which is to understand the stages of the adoption of technology in red packet culture
among the Malaysia Chinese communities and find out the affection of technology on the
inheritance of red packet culture among Malaysia Chinese communities. The quantitative
method was carried out by using an online questionnaire survey that was delivered to the aged
people. Most of them accept the adoption of technology in the red packet culture by using
different types of social media applications that offer the services of giving away red packets.
However, a small number of people could not accept the adoption of technology in red packet
culture as it would affect the inheritance of the red packet culture and bring a negative impact to
the generation.

THE INFLUENCE OF EMOTIONAL EXPERIENCE AND EXPRESSION IN THE WORKPLACE

Emotion expressions have become the subset of communication when an important message is
transferred by a person. The aim of this study is to find out the influence of emotional
experience and expression in the workplace. There are two objectives which is to examine the
emotional experience and expression within workplace communication and find out a way to
maintain a healthy supervisor-subordinate relationship to reduce conflicts in the workplace. The
quantitative method was carried out by using an online questionnaire survey that was delivered
to the community. Some of the employees have positive emotions when dealing with the
supervisor compared with the customers or coworkers. However, some of the employees who
manage their emotions upon the environment of the workplace and the stress level when
working through their tasks.
