hospitalization. A detailed general medical and psychiatric evaluation should be performed
before initiating management. Once the clinical diagnosis and medical conditions and
substance use have been ruled out, management should be initiated biopsychosocial, that is,
it merits the use of drugs, psychotherapeutic techniques and sociotherapy. Any treatment
directed at the anxious patient should be started in a warm environment, which provides
support and care to it. How is it a disorder chronic, the treatments already received must
first be clarified. Obviously not It is a good idea to start the same approach that has been
ineffective in the past.
The goal of treating anxiety disorders is to relieve symptoms of the patient, preventing
relapses and ensuring an adequate global functioning that allows him to work or study
normally. A therapeutic alliance should be established and psychoeducation of the patient,
his family and environment about the disorder of specific anxiety.
