Tim Wawn
Key Learning Objectives

strategy
● Identify a generic process to develop a
strategy
What is Strategy?
In Week 3 we learned about
the Value Proposition
“The Value Proposition is the reason why customers turn to
one company over another. It solves a customer problem or
satisfies a customer need. Each Value Proposition consists
of a selected bundle of products and/or services that caters
to the requirements of a specific Customer Segment. In this
sense, the Value Proposition is an aggregation, or bundle, of
benefits that a company offers customers.”
- Osterwalder, A. and Pigneur, Y. ‘Business Model Generation’
A key task of the entrepreneur is to design a Human
Institution which supports and delivers the Value Proposition
The Value Chain provides a template for how your
Human Institution should be functionally organised to
support and deliver your Value Proposition
