PROJECT TITLE:
PLANT TREESE, SAVE EARTH, SAVE LIFE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Conducting tree planting activity to help enhance the survival of mankind and the life of our
mother nature.

SCHEDULE AND DURATION:

June 1-2 2022

VENUE:

Barangay Ibag Barugo Leyte

TARGET PARTICIPANTS:

Elementary students from grade 5-6 and the youths of the barangay

Rationale:

We depend entirely on a health natural environment for our wealth and wellbeing. It is vital to ou
r economy and social structures, our homes and
neighborhoods, our capacity to construct things, and to our health and happiness. The protection
and preservation of the environment is one of the
importantissuesfacing humankind today, which we always ignore. As the human activities, the
natural environment is being destroy, so we have the responsibility to save them.

Hence, there is a need of collaborative effort between the school and the youths of the said
barangay to combat the loss of our natural resources and it is also a help to reduces the effect of
climate change. Therefore, this program would be implemented in the Barangay Ibag Barugo
Leyte in order to increase the number of trees in the locality. The seedlings to be used
were provided by the barangay.

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
The general purpose of this project is to improve the environment of the locality and also help to
reduce the effect of climate change and other calamities.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this program the students must be able to:

 Inculcate among participants the value of community service and social
responsibility.

 Install among participants the importance of protecting and preserving the eco-system.

 Connect participants and residents of the barangay to the benefits of trees and foster
environmental stewardship.

II. RECIPIENT

Description of the participants:

Elementary students from grade 5-6 and the youths of the barangay that has the capacity and
strength to help this project to be implemented.

Target participants:
70 students and youths
III. MECHANICS OF IMPLIMENTATION
Implementers:
Barangay officials and teachers
PLACE:
Barangay Ibag Elementary School
SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES TO BE UNDERTAKEN:

 June 1 orientation and after the orientation the planting of trees will be implemented.

 June 2 planting of trees from morning till afternoon.
