 1 Can I assume if there is a Solution Advisor who knows
aATP in S/4 PCE, they should be able to learn aATP in
Public Cloud without much effort?
Yes, from a functional perspective, this should be quite straight-
forward. What we observe is that the cloud approach and
mindset in general, require a certain degree of enablement.

2 Is it possible to position Solution from the S/4HANA Cloud Supply Chain, as

stand-alone public cloud solution?
Currently, it is not possible, but it is on the roadmap for warehouse management,
which you find here.

3 When is the Real Time Order confirmation (MTO scenario) getting released to
S/4HANA on premise?
In the context of advanced ATP, we address this requirement with the so-called
Supply Creation-Based Confirmation (SBC). This topic is on the roadmap and a first
release is planned with SAP S/4HANA 2022. Please find details on the roadmap
explorer for details on that topic here.

4 With the product and location substitution, can we have rules based on
business logic (E.g., Top 10 customers based on sales reservation or net new
customers etc.)?
The Alternative-Based Confirmation is following the approach to check all allowed
substitutions ATP and build one or multiple alternatives (best alternative) based on
hard constraints and rating attributes. In addition, custom logic can be used to
determine the best alternative via Extensibility (Cloud & on-Prem).

5 Any roadmap plans to bring advanced TM into public cloud and when would we
see a solution for sales order scheduling integrated with TM?
Please have a look at the roadmap for an overview of what is coming to TM in public
cloud. There are several additional functions planned. For the sales scheduling
agreement, please see the roadmap entry here.

6 Are there any plans for Availability check based on batch shelf life?
The requirement to consider shelf life during ATP check is a known and valid
requirement and so yes, this is a topic we want to address in the future.

7 Using the Tower slide, can you indicate which are AddOns in S4HC and which
are in standard?
Only Product Availability Check, ATP scheduling and Back Order Processing are part
of standard ATP. The rest of the functionalities are part of advanced ATP.
8 Why is Inline substitution not available for Storage location and Product
Substitution? If there is a requirement to enable the Inline substitution
enabled for Product Substitution, are there any enhancements possible to
enable Inline substitution for Product Substitution?
We need to keep the original requested product information and hence Product
Substitution always creates sub-item. In-line substitution is not possible for Product
Substitution.

9 Is ATP scheduling based on TM and on the roadmap for On Premise and Cloud
S/4HANA?
New BPS (Business Process Scheduling) is available both in Cloud and ON Prem.
BPS provides the foundation for TM integration. The initial release will focus on
embedded TM in the On Prem.

10 Why do we use the WebGUI to create sales order?

We are also planning to put RACR in the new sales order transactions.

11 Is there a dependency on using VA01 or does the Fiori Process Sales Order
app (F3893) also support aATP and the new subscreens?
The RACR is currently available in VA01/02. However, the new sales order app will
also have RACR. aATP is supported for all orders.

12 Are these capabilities completely available and also in S/4HANA Private

Cloud?
The advanced ATP is available in SAP S/4HANA On Premise, Private Cloud as well as
Public Cloud.

13 What features are available in On Prem S4 2020?

Please find the What’s New document for new features 2020 here. Please be aware
that Alternative-Based Confirmation Product Substitution is not available in the
2020 version.

14 Why is the BPX documentary on aATP 1JW so limited? It does not reflect the
tower
As Sujeet said, we will revisit it again. Additional feedback is welcomed also via mail

15 Will gATP in APO be obsolete once we use aATP for S4?

You can actually connect APO also to S/4HANA and then decide on the
material/plant combination level if it shall use gATP or advanced ATP.
