    Perlie K. Bontia
    In Service Training is a professional and personal educational activity for

    teachers to improve our efficiency, ability, knowledge and motivation in our

    professional work. The primary purpose of In-Service Training is to enable teachers

    to acquire new understanding and instructional skills.

    During the first day of the Mid-Year In-Service Training for Teachers last

    January 31, 2022 held at Gusa National High School-Cugman Annex, the following

    activities transpired.

    It started with the singing of our National Anthem followed by an opening

    Prayer lead by the Grade 7 Teachers. Our School Head Mr. Elizer O. Teruel, MAED

    rendered the welcome address and the sharing of experiences as a Teacher during

    Pandemic followed.

    The sharings has inspired all of us and our speaker Mr. Nathaniel B. Enriquez

    on Making Video Lessons on phones and integrating Classpoint to MS powerpoint

    has empowered all of us. This has been the highlight of the Inset Training.

    The afternoon was energized by a Zumba initiated by the Grade 8 Teachers.

    Another batch of Teachers shared more Teaching experiences during Pandemic

    through a Video Presentation draw more inspiration to all.

    Additional knowledge and inputs were shared by our afternoon Speaker, Dr.

    Jocelyn B. Palabon, Ph. D. Assistant to the School Head. Her Topic was about

    Classroom Observation during Pandemic-Online vs. Offline.

    Everybody were grateful for this First Day encounter and ended with a closing

    remarks by Ma’am Grace L. Neri, Grade 7 Level Chairman.
