Lesson7: The Transnational crime and Policing
I saw the first video which is the main concept in today's society (comparative models in policing).
The moderator first discusses the various police systems in various countries before comparing
them to our own. He has provided us listeners with a wealth of information and comprehension,
emphasizing the significance of each problem. The definition of policing is covered first, followed
by an explanation of the various police systems. He considered it to be both a science and an art
to evaluate and compare various nations' police systems. He also discusses the various policing
techniques, comparative criminal law, and international criminal law. The definition of
globalization and its effects on Philippine law enforcement were also covered by the speaker.
Every country has a police force that serves as its own legal system. One of this widespread. The
police represent the presence of civil politics in daily life and the state's ability to step in and take
care of citizenry concerns, which is a common concern of the state. Therefore, it is important to
understand how globalization affects police.
The speaker in the video that follows goes through important terms for the study of various police
models. He analyzes the definition and relevance of each element, including the comparative
police, criminal justice, and penal systems, among others. He added that transnational crime is
also committed across several states. Transnational crimes can take many different shapes,
including people trafficking, drug trafficking, and money laundering.
Comparative policing theories were covered in the final lesson. There are seven theories, the
attentiveness to crime theory, the economic theory or theory of migration, the opportunity theory,
the demographic theory, the deprivation theory, the modernization theory, and the seventh and
final theory, the anomie and synomie theory. In this most current video, you can learn about the
criminal justice systems of many foreign nations. Each definition, each function, and the
numerous governmental structures.
As a result, after viewing the entire video, I realized how essential it is for us to be knowledgeable
so we may put what we have learned to use in the near future and apply it to our everyday lives.
