I. COURSE DESCRIPTION : Theory and principle of operation and application of single-
phase transformer, parallel operation of transformers, auto-
transformer, three phase transformers, instrument
transformers, circuit breakers, power relays and other selected
equipment and devices currently used in the field as basic
requirements of an electric system.
II PROGRAM OUTCOMES : Graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
should be able to:

PO1 Apply knowledge of mathematics and sciences to solve


complex engineering problems.

PO2 Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze,


and interpret data.

PO3 Design a system, component, or process to meet desired


needs within realistic constraints such as economic,
environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety,
manufacturability, and sustainability, in accordance with
standards.

PO4 Function effectively on multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural


teams that establish goals, plan task, and meet deadlines.
