 Foreword, safety matters
1.1 Foreword
The laser system (hereinafter referred to as therapeutic instrument) is an intelligent laser
medical device launched by our company. The therapeutic apparatus has the characteristics of
excellent design, reasonable structure, beautiful appearance, reliable performance and convenient use.
The function and technical index have reached the international advanced level, and it is the current
upgraded product of similar instruments in China. Products are mainly sold to the United States,
Europe, Japan, South Korea and India.
The machine is a vertical structure, using a low-order mode carbon dioxide laser, good laser
mode, small focusing spot, high power density, good wavelength biological effect, with fast cutting
speed, good coagulation, less intraoperative bleeding, clear surgical vision . Flexible and convenient
to use, large operation surface. The laser power has high stability, the size can be preset at random,
and it has status self-diagnosis indication. It can be used in wards, beauty salons and private clinics.

1.2 Machine maintenance safety

1．When receiving the instrument, the instrument must be filled with pure water, and water is
added from the water hole until the overflow hole overflows, indicating that the water in the water
tank has been filled.
2．The handle shell is equipped with a precise laser optical system, and the shock-absorbing
packaging of our factory must be used during transportation, otherwise it may cause the laser system
to be out of adjustment and affect the laser output energy!
3．The operating arm of this product is equipped with a precise and fragile laser device, and it
is strictly forbidden to drop it when placing and using it!
4．Please turn off the instrument when debugging the laser or wiping the laser lens!

1.3 Laser safety
1．The treatment system is classified into 4 types of laser products according to the laser
radiation safety classification!
2．The laser is invisible infrared light, and its wavelength is 1064nm. All personnel in the laser
operation area (including guests) must wear protective glasses!
3．The laser window is located at the end of the hand cavity head aiming. Never look directly at
the end port of the aiming and any reflected laser beam!
4．Flammable and explosive narcotic drugs, liquids, gases (such as alcohol, ether, oxygen, etc.)
are far away from the laser radiation area, and have protective measures!
5．Metal instruments can cause laser reflections. Operators should avoid direct exposure to
these instruments and try not to use reflective instruments!
6．A laser radiation warning sign should be affixed to the entrance of the laser treatment room.
It is forbidden for people to enter and leave at will during the use of the laser!
7．The company recommends that you equip a special laser operation room. Any reflective
equipment is prohibited in the room. The laser operation should be divided into a dedicated area for
the operator and the recipient.

1.4 Operational safety

1．The operator must ensure a good indoor environment and clean the operating room when
using the instrument.
2．Patients must be provided with strict and effective eye protection. Such as covering with
gauze, eyelid plate cover protection, etc. The operator should use gauze to cover the eyes of the
subject, and use moist gauze to protect the eyes better, but the treatment site must be kept absolutely
dry! The operator must be proficient in our company's operating methods before washing the eyes,
such as using the eyelid When the plate and eye mask protect the eye, the operator should have
clinical experience in ophthalmology, and must be strictly disinfected when using the above
equipment. Otherwise, the eyeballs are not properly protected. It will cause great discomfort to the
subject, mild corneal inflammation, severe corneal shedding, and even blindness.
3．The illumination of the operating room should be large enough to make the pupils of the
room shrink
4．The operator in the operation area wears special laser protective glasses, but the laser
protective glasses cannot completely protect the direct laser or the laser reflected by the glass,
reflector, or smooth metal surface. Therefore, it is strictly prohibited to wear the protective glasses to
look directly at the direct laser and reflected light .
5．The operator should wear white or light-colored work clothes to minimize the radiation of
the laser to the human body.
6．It is strictly prohibited to irradiate the non-treatment area with laser
7．When the operation is stopped, there are still high-voltage devices in the machine that may
still have residual voltage. Opening the protective cover of the chassis at random may cause
high-voltage electric shock!
Note: Please ensure the stability of the used voltage!

 System operation principle

2.1 The principle of CO2 laser therapy instrument

The CO2 laser has a wavelength of 10.6 μm, and is almost 100% absorbed by human biological
tissues (regardless of skin color). The thermal and electromagnetic effects of laser can make the
surgical cutting, burning, gasification and minimally invasive treatment process less or no bleeding.
Therefore, almost all such treatments use CO2 laser.
The CO2 laser treatment instrument uses a sealed off CO2 laser, and the output laser is
transmitted through the light guide articulated arm, which is characterized by good directivity and
high energy density.
The laser output from the treatment device is invisible light. For the convenience of operation, a
red semiconductor laser is added as an indicator light.
When the laser beam output by the treatment device is output by the focusing lens, the high
temperature generated by the focusing point can vaporize the target tissue and can be used for cutting
and cauterization. The unfocused laser beam has a low energy density and can perform coagulation
surgery on the target tissue.

2.2 The principle of vaginal treatment

The vaginal laser treatment device uses the photothermal effect of carbon dioxide laser to treat
the vagina:
1．It acts on the vaginal mucosa and muscular layer, stimulates the regeneration of fibroblasts in
the lamina propria and muscular layer, and reshapes damaged collagen fibers and elastic fibers to
thicken the vaginal wall and tighten the vagina;
2．The microvascular stimulating effect of carbon dioxide laser causes vasodilation, increased
blood flow, increased cell oxidation and nutrient supply, increased ATP release from mitochondria,
active cell function, and increased vaginal mucosal secretion
3．The microvascular stimulation of the carbon dioxide laser activates the function of the cells
and enhances the complete and dynamic response of vaginal blood vessels to sexual stimulation,
thereby greatly increasing the sensitivity;
4．The carbon dioxide laser can change the characteristics of the tissues and produce collagen
hyperplasia, mucous membrane tightening, vaginal lubricity and sensitivity are effectively improved;
healthy mucosal tissues are active in various functions, normalizing the PH value and flora, thereby
reducing the chance of infection in intimate places.

2.5 Precautions before and after operation

2.5.1 Suitable for people with vaginal tightening:
1. Vaginal relaxation has reduced the quality of sexual life of couples.
2. Perennial constipation or urinary incontinence caused by postpartum.
3. Those with old vaginal laceration and vaginal slack.

2.5.2 Precautions before operation:

1. It is necessary to rule out uterine prolapse, vaginitis, vaginal tumors and other infectious diseases
before surgery. (Explanation: Severe vaginitis, cervical erosion, uterine prolapse are not recommended, slight can
be done; muscle cyst tumors within three centimeters can be done, more than three centimeters are not
recommended)
2. Avoid the menstrual period, the best time for surgery is 3 days after the period is completely clean;
3. The operation is performed at intervals of three months for miscarriage; the operation is performed at
intervals of six months for babies; the operation is performed at intervals of nine months for caesarean section;
4. Sheung Wan and external swelling are not recommended;
5. Disinfection of the treatment head: the new treatment head is soaked with iodophor for 20-30min. The
used treatment head is cleaned with boiling water and then soaked with iodophor. After soaking, it is cleaned with
boiling water and placed in a high pressure (102.9KPa) environment 20 ~ 30min, the disinfected treatment head can
be used directly!

2.5.3 Postoperative notes:

1. Sex is forbidden within one week after surgery
2. It is forbidden to rinse the vagina with liquid products on the day after the operation
3. Wear loose cotton breathable underwear within one week after surgery
4. Violent exercise is prohibited within one week after surgery, and cycling is prohibited on the day after
surgery

2.6 Instrument description

The treatment instrument uses the most advanced microprocessor technology to control (touch
screen control) the corresponding laser power supply, thereby driving the sealed-off carbon dioxide
laser to output laser. The operation is visual and very intuitive, and its user-friendly interface makes
users feel very convenient and safe when using it.

2.7.1 Sealed CO2 laser and indicator light

The sealed-off CO2 laser is made of glass tube with a length of 1255mm, and its effective gas is CO2.
Lenses are attached to both ends, and electrodes and cooling water pipes are installed on the sides. When the laser
electrode is connected to a high-voltage current, the CO2 gas is excited to produce laser light, which is emitted
from the germanium lens end of the laser. The indicating light is a visible light source, mainly indicating the
position of the laser output point.

2.7.2 Laser main power supply

The main laser power supply is mainly composed of high-voltage switching power supply, used to ignite
the CO2 laser tube.

2.7.3 Main control board

The main control board is composed of an LCD touch screen and a control circuit board. The operator
can operate all functions of this instrument through the touch screen. The displayed power and time are very
accurate.

2.7.4 Cooling circulation system

The cooling circulation system adopts a closed cooling method, which is mainly composed of a cooling
water tank, a water discharge joint, a water pump, and a water cutoff protector. The water pump is used to drive
water for circulating cooling during work.

2.7.5 Foot switch

The foot switch is used to control the laser output. When the foot switch is pressed, the shutter of the
shutter motor is opened, and the laser light is output from the end of the articulated arm.

2.7.6 Articulated arm

The laser output system of the therapeutic apparatus is a seven-joint light guide joint arm. The maximum
working radius is 110cm, and the operation is very light.

 Instrument operation guide

3.1 Preparation before starting

3.1.1 Unpacking inspection: After unpacking, please confirm that the instrument is not damaged,
the circuit wiring is intact, and the parts are complete.

3.1.2 Connect the articulated arm: Take out the articulated arm, connect it to the articulated arm
seat of the machine, and tighten it with the screw ring.

3.1.3 Add coolant:

A: Add water (note: add distilled water or purified water): Unscrew the "add water" and
"overflow" nuts, and add water from the "add water" hole through the funnel until the overflow
overflows. Tighten the nuts of the two holes.
B: Draining water (used in special situations! Change the water once a month): Unscrew the
"draining water" and "add water" nuts, water will flow out of the water outlet. Then after the water is
emptied, tighten the nuts of the two holes.
 When adding water, the container should be placed at the corresponding position of the overflow
port to receive water
 It is not allowed to turn on without water at any time!
 Use pure or distilled water for the coolant.

3.1.4 Check the input voltage: check whether the input power voltage is consistent with the
power voltage of the machine before turning on the power, so as to avoid unnecessary danger.

3.1.5 Connect the power cord: plug one end of the corresponding power cord into the power
socket of the machine and the other end into the power outlet of the network. (Note: The network
power supply must have a good grounding, and the recommended grounding is medical grade).

3.1.6 Connect the foot switch: Align the plug of the foot switch power cord with the
corresponding foot switch socket on the instrument. When you hear a "click" sound, it means that it
is connected normally.

3.1.7 Trial operation: Turn the power switch clockwise to turn on the machine, and let the
machine run for ten minutes. (Rotate in the opposite direction to turn off the power)

Note: Laser output is not allowed during idling！

3.2 Instrument operation method
When the emergency switch is released and the key switch is turned on, the following screen appears.

 Function selection interface

A. Fractional mode: mainly aimed at acne scars on the face and diminish scars;
B. Gynae mode: mainly for vaginal tightening and vulva redness;
C. Pulsed mode: mainly cut some moles protruding from the epidermis, syringoma, etc;
D. Vulva mode: mainly for vaginal tightening and vulva redness.

 Fractional mode interface

1) After selecting the power mode, use the + and-keys at the bottom of the screen to set the power.
Setting range: 1W ~ 60W point energy PE is the energy size of each point
2) After selecting the continuous (time) mode, use the + and-keys at the bottom of the screen to set the point
dwell time.
Setting range: 0.1ms ~ 10ms

 3) After selecting the pitch (time) mode, use the + and-keys at the bottom of the screen to set the point interval
time.
Setting range: 1ms ~ 5000ms
4) After selecting the dot pitch (density) mode, use the + and-keys at the bottom of the screen to set the
dot-to-dot spacing distance.
Setting range: 0.1mm ~ 2.6mm, the dot coverage rate PE is the percentage of dot coverage.
5) After selecting the shape (graphic) mode, set the emission form. (Change form every time you press)
Launch form: straight line, square, rectangle, triangle, regular hexagon, circle and ellipse
6) Use the right side of the screen, select the "diagonal" key, and press the UP and DOWN keys to adjust the
size of the graphic.
Setting range: 0.1mm ~ 20mm
7) After selecting the scan (scanning mode) mode, set the emission mode (change the mode each time you
press it). There are 3 types in total.
Launch mode: out-of-order play, play in order based on one side, and play according to the maximum distance
between two points
8) Use the save (save) key to save the set value.
First save the value you just set in the specified number key. For example, press the number 1 in the set value,
and then press the save (save) key. When you press the number 1 key in the future, the stored setting will be
automatically entered. Value.
9) After the setting is completed, switch the emission standby (standby) button to the ready (permitted) mode.
In the ready (ready) mode, press the foot switch to emit laser.
10) While emitting laser light, press the (Preview) button to display the preview light preview effect.
11) After the transmission is completed, press the return key at the top of the screen to the standby screen.

Fractional mode parameter reference table

Power (W) 8 ~ 15, according to the thickness of the skin and its own repair ability, generally choose 9.

 Pulsed mode interface

1) After pressing the power key, use the + and-keys to set the transmission energy.
Setting range: 1W ~ 60W

2) After pressing the mode key, use 1, 2, 3 keys to set the transmission mode.
Transmit mode: single (1), continuous (2), pulse (3)

3) Pulse width, multiple action time, frequency, adjust according to left and right.
Predetermined area:
In a single shot, only the pulse width is effective, and the adjustment range is: 10ms ~ 1000ms

4) After setting, put STANDBY (standby) into READY (preparation) state, then step on the foot to have laser
output.

5) To return, press the return key to return to the previous interface.

Pulsed mode parameter reference table

Power: (8 ~ 15) W, according to the size of moles and fat particles, generally 9W.
Single mode Dwell time: (1.0 ~ 2.5) ms, generally 1.5ms. The longer the dwell time, the longer the laser acts on
the skin, otherwise, the shorter.

Continuous
Power: (6 ~ 9) W

Pulse width: (1.0 ~ 2.0), generally 1.0ms is selected, the greater the pulse width, the greater the

 Gynae mode interface

1) Laser pulse mode (Laser pulse mode) This function is the order in which the laser fires at 360 degrees,
which is divided into three types: sequential, out of order, and maximum distance. Use the plus and minus keys on
the screen to set.
2) The number of shots (Shot counter) is set using the plus and minus keys on the screen, up to 10 times, and
the common value is 1 time.
3) Size (Shap size) This function is the size of the laser scanning onto the vertebrae. Use the plus and minus
keys in the screen to set it. The usual value is a fixed value, generally between 4.5mm-5mm. No need to adjust it
often.
4) Pulse time (Duration), this function is the laser burning time of a single point, which is an important
parameter to determine the amount of energy, the highest value is 10, use the plus and minus keys in the screen to
set, the common value is 2 -5.
5) Laser power (Power), this function is the laser output power, which is also an important parameter to
determine the energy size. The maximum value is 40. Use the plus and minus keys in the screen to set, generally set
at 33-40 between.
6) The number of laser spots in a single circle (Spot size), this function is the number of laser spots in a
360-degree week, the highest value is 100, which is adjusted in units of 4, using the plus and minus keys in the
screen It is generally set between 12-28. This value cannot be too large, too large, which is equivalent to peeling,
and the vagina can't stand it.
7) Frequency of laser scanning (Frequency), this function is the number of laser scanning circles, the highest is
10, and the common value is 1 or 2.
8) 12345 is to save five commonly used parameters, click Save to save.
9) Complete the setting preparation (Ready), complete the parameter setting, and press the foot switch to
work.
10) Parameter setting status (Stand by).

 Precautions
 Laser light is not allowed to directly illuminate human eyes or healthy skin at any time.
 In order to prevent human eyes or skin from being irradiated by laser, the laser is not allowed to
shine on smooth surfaces, so as to prevent the laser from forming reflection or diffuse reflection,
such as: stainless steel surface, mirror surface, etc.
 After the relevant parts of the instrument are cleaned and disinfected with 75% alcohol, the laser
must be used after the alcohol has completely evaporated to avoid burning or explosion. When
using this instrument, flammable anesthetics or oxidizing gases such as nitrous oxide (N2O) and
oxygen must be avoided.
 After using the private instrument, the treatment head and dilator must be disinfected with
boiling water and alcohol.
 In order to prevent contamination of the focusing lens of the cutter head, and to ensure a clean
surgical environment, it is recommended to use a smoking device during surgery. Clean the
cutter head and focusing lens at least every 3 months.
 When the instrument is used, in the area of 35m, looking directly at the laser will cause eye
damage. The instrument operator must wear safety glasses when working.
 High voltage will be generated inside the instrument. Non-professionals are strictly prohibited to
open the instrument case to avoid electric shock.
 Once the machine emits abnormal odor or produces abnormal sound, the power supply should be
cut off immediately, the power cord should be unplugged for inspection, and it is forbidden to
turn on the power before troubleshooting.
 The normal temperature range of the machine is 5 ℃ ～ 40 ℃, and the humidity range is
10% ～ 80%.
 In order to prevent the laser tube from getting wet and freezing, the water in the water tank
should be emptied before the instrument is moved.
 When the life of the parts on the instrument is over, don't throw it away at random, please handle
it according to the relevant regulations of the local environmental protection department.
 When the instrument is not in use, the key on the lock switch must be pulled out, and the key is
kept by a special person.
 The operating room should be equipped with dust removal or smoking devices to avoid the
pollution of biological tissue exhaust dust.
 The laser tube is made of glass, be careful to avoid damage.

 Maintenance
The power supply and laser tube of this instrument will generate high voltage electricity. Ask a
professional to maintain the instrument to avoid electric shock.
6.1 Lens cleaning
After the instrument is used for half a year, the output energy of the instrument will slightly
decrease, which may be caused by the contamination of the focusing lens of the cutter head. Wipe
the lens a few times with a damp cotton ball, being careful to damage the lens.
6.2 Chassis cleaning
If there is dust inside the case, clean it with a damp cotton cloth dipped in detergent or
toothpaste. The cloth must not be too wet to prevent the instrument from short-circuiting.
6.3 Power calibration
The laser output power should be calibrated every year. Standard laser power meter should be
used for calibration, and the calibration personnel should have corresponding qualifications.
6.4 Fuse replacement
Turn off the power and unplug the power cord before replacing the fuse. When replacing, use a
screwdriver to unscrew the fuse mount, remove the old fuse, install a new fuse, install the fuse mount
and tighten, note that the corresponding fuse specifications should be consistent with the nameplate.
6.5 Disinfecting the cutter head
The cutter head must be disinfected after use.

 Troubleshooting
If you encounter problems when using the instrument, please try the following solutions.
Malfunction
After the host power is turned on,
the operation panel does not display,
and the water pump does not work
(or the water pump works, but there
is abnormal vibration and sound)
The machine is operating normally,
but there is no laser output
No laser output, the instrument
issues an alarm
There is a lot of noise when the
machine is working
Indication light is not focused or
output at the terminal; CO2 laser is
not focused
Note: The operator is not allowed to adjust the following components: laser tube, articulated arm, semiconductor
parallel beam and microcomputer control board.
Possible reason
a. The power plug is not inserted
properly;
b. Emergency stop switch button is
pressed.
a. The foot switch plug is not
properly connected;
b. The parameter setting on the
control board is incorrect;
c. When using the machine for the
first time, the two nuts are not
tightened after filling the water tank;
the key of the switch is not inserted;
the joint arm assembly is not
tightened.
The working time of the instrument
is too long, the water tank is too hot
Unbalanced machine placement
The interior of the articulated arm is
damaged or not working properly;
No laser output or output power
drops significantly.
Solution
a. Check if both ends of the power
cord plug are properly inserted;
b. Put the emergency stop switch
(red mushroom-shaped button) in
the position where the key of the
lock switch is connected as
instructed.
a. Connect the foot switch plug
correctly according to the
instructions;
b. Reset the parameters on the
control board according to the
instructions;
c. Tighten the nut of the water tank;
insert the key of the lock switch and
place it in the "1" position; tighten
the components on the joint arm.
Let the machine stop running until
the water tank temperature drops to
the normal working range before
restarting the machine
Place the machine in a stable place
