Bees aren’t often seen in the winter. This is because bees


stop being active once the temperature gets below 50º. }

Instead, they gather together in the lower area of their
hive. There, they huddle together in a “winter cluster”
around the queen bee for warmth.

that she is protected. The entire hive works together to
take care of her year-round, even when it’s cold.
