This letter replaces service letter #15358 dated 18 How To Get DMS-5 Software
May 2021.
Dealers need to purchase License Activation Card,
With the introduction of new E57W-7 (*B54A11001* & P/N 7443916 for single license, valid for 3 users
Above) wheeled excavator model with Stage V Bobcat (devices) and 2 years from activation date for first user.
V2 engine, new Doosan Monitoring Software DMS-5
is needed for VCU diagnostic functions. Estimated cost of the License Activation Card will be
550 EUR.
The DMS-5 is replacing current DMS-3 software, which
was necessary for diagnostic of E57W *B3WU11001* & Figure 1
Above. New DMS-5 is applicable for both models.
However, E57W *B3WU11001* & Above is still
serviceable using older DMS-3 software.

DMS-5 Features

DMS-5 software provides existing functions of DMS-3

software: 1

• Monitoring: You can monitor the current status of

equipment installed with Controller (EPOS or VCU).
• Graph Output: The major excavator sensor data will
be displayed in a graph format. The data can be
saved on the hard disk. You can check the
excavator's performance through data comparison
and analysis.
• Force Operation: You can use vehicle diagnosis by
forcing Controller (EPOS or VCU) outputs.
• Diagnosis: You can check the real-time and past
malfunction history maintained by Controller (EPOS
or VCU).
• History Data: You can analyze the work patterns
when using an excavator, by checking the operation
hours, filter/oil information, and daily operation
information.
DMS-5 software provides new functions:
• Data recording function
• Auto update function
• Automatic software error collection function
• Virtual connection Training function for machine
• Compatible with all current Windows versions
• PDF Report Function
• 8 languages available

The software program is available on
Bobcat.eu (https://dealers.bobcat.eu/bobcat), together
with the 'DMS-5 License Activation Request Form' and
'DMS-5 User Guide' [Figure 1].
Upgrade your Internet Explorer to 9.0 or later. It is
recommended to use Google Chrome browser for
optimal performance.
Access 'Aftermarket' tab, 'Current Products Software',
'DMS-5 Doosan' (Item 1) [Figure 1].
Download DMS-5 Diagnostic Software, install it to your
computer and launch it. Please consider that,
depending on your organization's IT policy, it may be
required to run "setup.exe" as administrator.
Software will always update to the latest version during
startup. It requires an internet connection for
installation and updates.

Download 'DMS-5 License Activation Request
Form' and follow instructions in the file. License
should be activated normally within 2 working days
after sending the properly filled form to the e-mail
address service.support.compact@doosan.com.

Following data is needed for successful license

activation:

• Code from license activation card

• Code (Unique PC number) from DMS-5 registration
window
• Contact details

Bobcat Company conveys the license and provides

technical support to dealers, Doosan provides updates
of the software during startup. Bobcat Company also
warrants that the license card on which the license key
is furnished will be free from defects in materials and
workmanship, according to Bobcat Company policies,
unless the damage arised from misuse, abuse or
carelessness by the owner.

NOTE: Bobcat AND Doosan dual dealers, whose

personnel has existing accounts or
registrations at www.doosanconnect.com
provided by Doosan, need to make the
activation by themselves, according to
Doosan's rules. Bobcat cannot carry out
registration using a user's e-mail address,
which is already registered at
DoosanCONNECT.

Service Cloud or your Bobcat Service Manager.

DMS-5 software also provides diagnostic functions for

Stage V Bobcat engines and virtual diagnostic
assistance function in the future.
