Direction: Explain the difference or interdependence between health and fitness.

A health education aims to advance people's understanding, attitudes, and actions in relation to
their health. It is used in schools to help students make smart choices about things that affect their
health. Health can be taught in schools in a variety of ways. The majority of the time, teachers design
and lead learning activities that help students improve their decision-making abilities. Teachers
prioritize educating students on health topics and raising awareness of variables that affect quality of
life. An individual's general well-being is greatly influenced by their health behaviors. Since health-
related behaviors are both acquired and modifiable, formal health education typically begins in
elementary school, when children are at their most malleable. At this age, a child is also more likely
to accept healthy habits. The damaging effects of a lifelong disregard for one's health can be avoided
in this early life.

Fitness is a term with varying definitions, but it often refers to an individual's optimal health and
well-being. In addition to being physically healthy, being fit also involves being mentally and
emotionally well. It encompasses all aspects of your health. Fitness starts with a healthy diet and an
active lifestyle. Cardiovascular health is another aspect of fitness, and it may be enhanced by
engaging in aerobic exercises that speed up your heart and lungs. Strength, flexibility, and balance
are other components. To increase your fitness, you don't need to purchase fancy, pricey
equipment. One accessible kind of exercise is walking. Strength can also be developed by performing
numerous household and outdoor activities.

Fitness involves doing something that stimulates different parts of the body and order to keep the
body within that state. However, health is a state that affects all of the body's systems and can only
be attained by leading a healthy lifestyle. In general, a wide variety of exercises and movements are
involved in both health and fitness. Maintaining a balance between a person's mental and physical
health can be done by reducing stress, getting enough sleep, etc. In terms of fitness, a person's
muscular strength, agility, flexibility, body composition, and balance are taken into account. A
person's health does not follow their physical activity if they wake up exhausted from pushing
themselves too far during an exercise session. Being aware of how far one may push oneself to stay
healthy and fit is crucial for maintaining one's fitness. People who are healthy and don't have any
injuries or illnesses usually have more energy. They are physically and mentally well. The best way to
stay fit and healthy for the rest of your life is to not push yourself too hard and to stick to a healthy
diet and exercise plan. This will help you stay healthy overall. On the other hand, fitness might be
described as the capacity to successfully do specific task. Healthy can be referred to as being in good
physical condition. With a good diet, a lot of exercise, and a low level of cholesterol and fat, a person
can stay healthy, active, and fit. The state of someone's health depends on how fit they are. The idea
of fitness is a part of the health concept.
