Additional Stagnation increments to Staff -

Consequent upon signing of 1 '1th Bipartite Settlement, additional
Stagnation lncrement was introduced in Award Staff Cadre. Further, frequency
of release of stagnation increments were to be reworked from the existing
system of 3 years to 2 years from the date of reaching the top of scale/ cadre.

2. We are receiving representations from various retiree staff seeking


clarification w.r.t. date of release of monetary benefit of newly introduced
additional stagnation increment and impact of notional stagnation on calculation
of pension.

3. Accordingly, it is clarified as below :

i. Award Staff who were in the service of the Bank as on 01.11.2017


and were already drawing the eighth stagnation increment are
eligible for monetary beneflt of newly Jntroduced additional stagnation
increment in terms of 11th Bipartite Settlement w.e.f. 01.1 1.2017 or
two years after receipt of last available stagnation increment,
whichever is later. Accordingly eligible employees will be entitled for
Commutation arrears, leave encashment arrears and Gratuity arrears
alongwith salary anears.

4. The concerned functional departments are in the process of finalizing


the data for release of arrears on account of the above clarification, which is
expected to be completed before end of December quarter. Zones are advised
to percolate the information to all pensioners under their jurisdiction.
