1. Application
MCU 5.0 three-position switch controller is used for controlling the operation of motor-driven three-
position switch or two-position switch, and preventing the three-position switch from misoperation.

2. control logic

2.1 Motor start logic

2.2 Motor stop logic

2.2.1 Normal position input signals (List in Table 2.1) detected, stop motor.
2.2.2 When motor starts, no any changeover of normal position signal detected after 5 s, then stop motor.
The blocking current of PZX0/ZX0.2/METRO cabinet 220V is 1.4A, 110V is 2.8A, 48V is 5.6A; The blocking
current of ZX0/2/1.2/1.5-R cabinet 220V is 1.8A, 110V 3.8A, 60V 5.8A, 48V 7.8A.
2.2.3 Time-out time, for PZX0/ZX0.2/METRO cabinet is 10s, for ZX0/2/1.2/1.5-R cabinet is 25s.
2.2.4 Stop motor when blocking.
2.2.5 When the watchdog is triggered, stop the motor.

2.3 If in the close position of the isolated switch, can not execute the command of close the earth
switch.

2.4 Alarm

2.4.1 When XOR value of the two input signal of isolation switch is 0, send alarm signal, delay time is
10s,but not alarm in the process of the motor running .
2.4.2 When motor starts, for PZX0/ZX0.2/METRO cabinet, no any normal position signal detected after 10s,
send alarm signal, for ZX0/2/1.2/1.5-R cabinet, no any normal position signal detected after 25s, send alarm
signal.
2.4.3 When motor starts, no any changeover of normal position signal detected after 5 s, send alarm signal.
2.4.4 More than 1 command signals input, send alarm signal.
2.4.5 When the load current detected in the operation of the motor is larger than the blocking current
setting value, send alarm signal.
2.4.6 If motor direction is error, send alarm signal.
2.4.7 When the mechanism is in the middle position, it will alarm after 90s, and self-reset after it is in place.

Reset all output, reset all alarm action. After alarm has been reset, to allow continued operation of the mo-

2.6 Other logic

2.6.1 Only REED closed and ESW closed, to determine the three-position-switch is in the earth-closed
state. (Two-position unrelated)

3. Communication protocol
(please refer to this clause for the product with communication function )

Communication protocol is MODBUS RTU, the baud rate can be set 19200 or 9600, the factory set is 9600.
