JUNIOR SENIOR INTERACTION

SESSION

"In Institutions, the senior position, which is considered higher have more experience than the junior, so
junior has hope that the senior can play a role as their guardian."
Hierarchical relationships are not one-dimensional, that those who have power are benefited. Another
dimension of the hierarchical relation is the responsibility carried by those who have a higher position. Senior
feel morally that they must guide, protect, and stand up for junior. For this, senior junior interaction plays a
very important role. So, department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a senior junior interaction
session.

Senior-Junior Interaction started:

The senior-junior interaction was organized on the last
day of final year students so that they can share their
college life experience with juniors. This Session was
held in the Activity Room of CSE department. This
session was organized on the same day of the
inauguration of the activity room recently created by
CSE department. All the students of final year first
arrived in the activity room. After this, HOD of CSE
department introduced all the seniors to their juniors.
Then Seniors started sharing their college experience
with the juniors.
They told them about the mistakes they made
at their time which should not be repeated by
juniors. They told them how they can get
placed in multinational companies if they’ll do
hard work. They told them the importance of
communication skills and programming in
grabbing a placement with higher package. As
some of the seniors were hostelers so they
shared their hostel life experience with
juniors.

JUNIOR’S DOUBTS:

Once seniors covered

everything, Juniors were
allowed to ask questions from
their seniors. Juniors asked
about their mistakes they made
at their time and how they can
improve it. Juniors also asked
how they can make their
college life more memorable
along with just learning and
studying. They asked many
questions from the seniors.
They asked about the need of
market in technical field.
Seniors answered all their
questions.

END OF SESSION:
This session was over after all the question of juniors had been answered by the seniors. Juniors
were so thankful to their seniors and department for this interaction session. Also, the seniors
were very happy to have a interaction session with their juniors. Then the session ended
successfully.
