1.Teacher will show two groups of animals,
PRE LESSON 2.Pupils required to write the total number of animals on the miniwhiteboard.
4.Teacher will introduce the topic.(addition)
Activity 1
PRESENTATION 1.Teacher will show two different method to solve addition questions.
2.Teacher will emphasize that to add in vertical form the digits should be arranged according to their place value.
Activity 2
1.Teacher will conduct question answering section.
2.Teacher will show number sentense involving addition of two and three numbers with the sum within 10000.
3.Students required to solve the number sentences shows by the teacher.
4.Teacher will correct the students mistake and guide them.
Activity 3
1.Pupils will do exercises in their activity book page 17,18,22 and 23.
Hot seat Activity.
POST LESSON 1.Pupil who choose to sit on hot seat will be given mini whiteboard and marker pan.
2. Teacher will give 1 number sentence involving addition of two or three numbers with the sum within 10000.
3.The student on the hot seat will solve the number sentence.
4.The activity will be continue till pupil number 5.
6.Then teacher will conclude the lesson.
