Calling Script:
Introduction:
Agent: Hi, my name is XYZ from Avantis Direct. I am calling about the review of
your card payments. Am I speaking to the owner/decision maker?

Business owner: Yeah, how may I help you?

Agent: Sir, how is your day being today?

Business owner: Fine, What about you?

Agent: Great. Sir, I am calling to inform you that our account manager XYZ will be
doing a review of some of the businesses in your area, this will cost nothing to
your business this is just to see how we can help businesses when it comes to
lowering down Transaction costs, this would only take 15mins, with no
commitment at all. So, Sir may I ask what Merchant service you are using right
now?
Business owner: Its XYZ and they are giving a very good service. So I am not
interested at the moment.

Agent: Sir, We can definitely beat them at rates and service.

Business owner: Ok.


Agent: Sir, would you mind if I ask what your monthly Transaction volume is?

Business owner: It’s (XXX) amount.

Agent: Oh! Fantastic Sir, We can definitely make a significant saving on your
monthly transaction costs.
Business owner: But how could you beat them?
Agent: Sir, we have many international banks on our platform which will allow us
to make a significant saving on your transaction costs. And this is something most
merchant service providers don’t have. They have one or two banks at most.

Business owner: what type of rate you guys can offer they are giving me (xyx)
rate.

Agent: Sir, that’s quite an expensive rate we can definitely beat it. Right now I am
not having the liberty to reveal the rate over the phone because I don’t have your
merchant service statement at the moment. My account manager (Saleem) will
be there in your area tomorrow he will have a look at your Merchant Service
Statement and I can assure you he will make a significant saving on your monthly
transaction costs. So Sir, are you available tomorrow?

Business owner: All right, I will be available on Monday not tomorrow.

Agent: That’s fine Sir at what time?

Business owner: at 2:00 pm


Agent: That’s fine sir. I am scheduling an interview on Monday (date) at 2:00 pm.

look at your Merchant Service Statement only then he can make a significant

Some important points to remember:
