A lost trip

Karen didn’t wake up until ten o’clock. Last night she attended a party which
ended after midnight, completely forgetting that the next day she had to go on
a school trip.

She immediately realized that she was late and the bus with the other students
had been gone for an hour. In hurry she dressed up and got something to eat.
She decided to take the bus alone to the place where the others should be.
After thirty minutes of waiting, she managed to get on a bus. Due to the traffic,
the driver had to take another route on a freer road. The day before it was
raining quite heavily and the road turned out to be muddy.

Moreover, the bus broke down and it would have taken at least half an hour to
repair it. Karen hadn't been able to rest well after the party, so she decided to
take a nap until the bus was repaired. Suddenly she woke up scared and the
driver was right in front of her. They had reached the final station, a few tens of
kilometres away from where she had to get off.

It was already 3 o'clock in the afternoon and the trip was almost over. So she
took another bus back home. When she got home, she continued her lost day
sleeping.
