ACTIVITY 1: Make an Essay on relation to VMGO in your respective degree program.

The VMGO guides the students to utilize the tools and resources to understand their
interests and abilities, identify academic goals and develop appropriate academic plans. The
fact that it is a long-term objective gives the school direction. Students are also informed of the
organization's mission and are inspired to work toward achieving it. CTU is providing
opportunities for us students to gain the information we want to know about the course we are
taking and use it while undergoing university instruction. It is a multidisciplinary university, in
fact. A mission statement outlines an school’s current situation and its main goals or objectives.
It gives specific details regarding the organization's activities, including what, how, and for
whom they are done. It is more immediate than the vision statement. It does, however, share
certain similarities with the vision statement in that it identifies the main objectives that will
contribute to the future the school envisions.

The ways of teaching in this university are effective, from what I observed they nurture
their students, facilitate student learning and overall comprehension of material and measure
students learning through both formal and informal methods of evaluation, such as group
projects, student portfolios, and participation in class, should be used to gauge students
learning. Cebu Technological University seeks to utilize students knowledge to enhance the
functioning of the neighborhood in which they reside and work, to enhance students capacities
to significantly contribute to the objectives of their employers, to boost students' levels of
confidence and self-worth through the achievement of long-term academic goals, and to open
doors for them to pursue additional lifelong learning opportunities and critical thinking.

Goals are more focused objectives that ought to offer students definite and practical
direction. Cebu Technological University aims to become one of the best universities in the
world that produces scientifically and technologically oriented students with appropriate
knowledge, skills and attitudes. To engage and maintain a competent, qualified faculty that
possesses current technical and professional knowledge and experience, engages in ongoing
professional development, and has the ability to transmit this knowledge to students. Students
are aware of the connection between their health and academic success. The educational
process for students includes the integration of many viewpoints. To change, improve, and
guarantee that the University's programs are effective in preparing students for successful
careers.

“WHO AM I”

The name Sophia Alexisse came from one of the princess of the Royal Family in a British
Monarchy. Princess Sophia then, was pretty and an adorable princess. People adore her
because of her beauty and my Mother said, if she had to have another baby girl, she will name
her after Princess Sophia.
The name Alexisse is a European name, that is supposed to be pronounced as Alexis,
with a silent S but because were Filipinos, and we are familiar by the American English, we say it
Alexisse. My Mother was fascinated by the European name even before we were born. And my
Mother said, that when she gave birth to me, my pinkish color really defined my name Sophia,
as one of the Princess she loved.
Sophia also refers to the flower Rose. The flower Rose who is ferocious, delicate, spikey,
and gorgeous. The flower Rose also represents passion, beauty, love, and bravery. My mom had
always found me brave just by surviving from her womb for 9 months and coming out as a
strong baby. My mom had a hard time giving birth to me because I was somehow a big baby.
So, Rose, like me spikey yet a pretty person.
