Mr.S.Suresh , Assistant Professor (SG) in the Department of Management Studies,

Rajalakshmi Engineering College (REC) has 12+ years of experience in teaching and

research. He has received his M.B.A degree in finance from Anna University in the year

2005, M.com (Finance) from Pondicherry University in the year 2012, and M.Phil

(Management) from Bharathidasan University in the year 2009. He is pursuing Ph.D (Bank

Management) from Alagappa University in the year. His areas of interest are Accounting,

Banking, Capital Markets, Investment Management, Derivatives, Financial Management and

Data analysis. He has guided a number of MBA projects. He has published 10 research

articles in many National and International journals indexed in UGC and SCOPUS. He also

participated and presented research papers in various National and International conferences

organised by many educational institutions.

Mr. Suresh S has also conducted various programs at National level as organiser and as a

Deborah Sharon Stanley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies at the

Rajalakshmi Engineering College. She has completed MBA and MPhil and is pursuing her doctoral

program in the Department of Management Studies at University of Madras, Chennai. She has over 10

years of teaching experience. She has guided projects and has published papers. Ms Deborah Sharon is

also serving as Editor of Department News Letter "Sonnets" since 2015. She mentors students

constantly.

Report on Value Added Programme 2017
The programme on Data Analysis was conducted with an objective of giving hands on
(

experience to the students of MBA in the area of Data Analysis with proper interpretations.

The programme was offered for 30 hours duration with the internal tesource persons.

The students have got training in the field of data analysis and they also understood

the impact of the Value added Programme. The students have become familiar with SPS1

presentation of statistical output and they also able to Create and edit graphical displays of

data. The students were able to understand how to enter and reorganize information within

SPSS. The students were capable of Understanding how to effectively summarize research

finds using SPSS. The students were able to use the appropriate indexes and tables

The feedback given by the students were extremely satisfied and they also suggested

that it can be conducted for future batches also.
