Procedures need to be implemented to prevent transmission of Covid-2019 infection .
Disinfection: All the staff and workers should disinfection all the door knobs, desk, table, cash, cash
count machine, cell phones, wallets, keys, vehicles steering, vehicle door handle, return goods etc, all
the surface which could have come into frequent contact. For the surface sanitization we should use
Sodium Hypochlorite (0.1 % that is concentration which is equivalent to 1000 PPM). Surface should be
cleaned with clean water after 10 minute contact time for chlorine, and for the electronics ( Such as
Mobile phones, remote control and buttons in Elevator, we have to use Ethyl Alcohol which should have
alcohol concentration of 70 %.

Sodium Hypochlorite (Bleach solution) by mixing:

 5 tablespoon (1/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water


 4 table spoons bleach per quart of water.

Do not mix bleach with other chemical such as alcohol or vinegar, as they result in chemical reaction
could release toxic gases that are harmful to people.

Sanitization: All the worker need to sanitize their hands frequently. If you hand is not visible dirty then
use the hand sanitizer with alcohol content which contains minimum alcohol content 60 % or above and
rub your hand for 20 to 30 seconds, and when your hand is visibly dirty use soap and clean water and
rub your hand for 40 to 60 second.

Materials delivered to the market and return goods to the ware house: All the staffs engage in
delivering FMCG products to the market should take a safety precaution while delivering goods and
handling cash received from the market. All the vehicle should be equipped with hand sanitizers in all
car and Ethyl Alcohol (Alcohol 70 %). Need to disinfect the cash by using (Ethyl Alcohol) and sanitize you
hand using hand sanitizer.

Any return good to the ware house should also be disinfected before entering inside the ware house.

Personnel Protective Equipment. (Face Mask, Hand Gloves, Safety Goggles).

While wearing face mask, appropriate use and disposal are essential that they are effective and to avoid
any increase in transmission, the following information on the correct use of masks,

 Before wearing mask and after disposal, need to clean our hand with hand sanitizer or use of
soap and water.
 Place the mask carefully, ensuring it covers the mouth and nose, and tie it securely to minimize
any gaps between the face and the mask.
 Avoid touching the front of the mask, before wearing it.
 Remove the mask using the appropriate technique: do not touch the front of the mask but unite
it from behind.
 After removal dispose carefully the face mask in a dustbin with closed lid.
 Do not re-use single use mask.
 Replace the mask with a new clean, dry mask as soon as they become damp/humid.
